    3. Hahahaha!

Hahahahaha!

    5. @12:35 naniwala ka talaga sa govt? haha jusko. if anything, sila ang walang credebility. and all filipinos know kung gano kinukurakot ang budget ng mga athletes. Ask Wesley So. ;) although i dont think Wesley So will spill it, pero he represents the US now because of how bad the sports committee is in the philippines. puro gilas lang naman tlga ang may budget.

Jusko nakakahiya kayo at kadiri kayo, pramis.

45k lang ang monthly allowance ng mga top tier athletes natin sa bansa like her. E kailangan mo pa pasuwelduhan yung mga coach mo at team monthly, pay for your equipment, fitness, diet and conditioning at pag may competitions abroad need mo bayaran ang air fare, accomodations, food ng buong team mo lahat lahat. And did I mention may pamilya ka nga palang binubuhay?

Look at Wesley So. He was then top 20 sa world of chess at ganyan din ang reklamo niya. So he renounced his being a Filipino athlete, migrated and played for US flag instead, and look at him, No. 2 na sa world of chess.

Kasi kahit food allowance man lang tulungan sila.

      Delete
    3. Pangarap niya but that dream includes associating the country you represent, di na maiaalis yun. She can opt to represent other countries if they ask and sponsor her but she's doing it for her and the country. Masyado ka lang nega dear.

    4. @ 12:22 ang madamot ka din. magwala ka kung nag go fund me yan para pambili ng hermes eh hindi eh, athleta natin yan.

      Delete

      Delete
    6. Remember Wesley So. Top ranking, pero he's representing the US.

    7. 12:22 whenever an athlete goes to competition like Olympics they don’t go there as individuals, they are sent to represent their countries.

      Delete
    8. I don’t see it that way. Yung ngang basketball team natin na puro yabang at basag ulo ang alam daming sponsorships kahit wala namang naipapanalo halos. Azkals na hindi naman as bad as our basketball team, pero not that amazing either naliligo rin sa “suporta”. So many Pinoys claimed Hidilyn’s success, she’s showed great results - may K sya to ask for support. I mean if you don’t feel like donating that’s fine, rin naman.

      Delete

      Delete
    10. Because 12:22 IT'S OUR COUNTRY SHE REPRESENT. Nung bgo sya makilala, halos sila sila ang gumastos for themselves. And when she won, everyone ride to the bandwagon and may pa #pinoypride (which im sure nkiride k). Tpos kung kelan kelangan ng suporta from us, most especially to the goverment, gaganyanin mo lng, babalewalain lng. She cant carry the whole weight of responsibility, since she also financially unstable just like the rest of the athletes. Kya nga siguro nagpakuha dati ang dting sikat n atleta s ibang bansa ksi binalewala lng ng bansa sya. Tpos ang ating bansa p nagturing s kanya n traydor, ngunit tyo(goverment) ang una nagtraydor. Sad life of Pinoy athlete

      Delete
    12. true 12:28. people dont uderstand that these athletes do get offers from other countries to represent them pero they still choose to represent the philippines, take for example efren bata reyes. he got offers from japan pero he declined. o asan na sya ngayon? these athletes are giving their all for the country when in fact pwede sila mabuhay nang maaganda sa offers ng ibang countries. do you guys even know wesley so, he's a chess grandmaster, he used to represent the philippines pero US na ang nirerepresent nya, which i dont blame him for, kasi ngayon he has reached more milestones because of his choice and he still gives homage to the Philippines.

      Delete
Pero pag nanalo mangunguna ka pa mag post ng "proud to be pinoy." Tsk.

    17. I suggest you go and join the national team athletes of our country to see kung Ano ang totoong estado nila. Punta din kayo sa rizal
Memorial - the national training center for our sports. Many instances - Yung mga atleta - aabonohan pa nila mga specialized training sessions and even the cost of trips for competitions abroad - competitions that are seagames or Olympic prequalifiers. Di kayo siguro atleta kaya Di nyo na aapreciate yung pinagdadaanan nila. It is training 24-30 hours a week - on top of work, school Etc. athletes require proper training and facilities - as we as nutrition - and physiotherapists. Alam nyo ba wala nga yung Ibang mga Team Ng official Doctor Or PT? After training - need nila Ng protein drink for recovery. Need nila mag pa massage (at Hindi Yung sa spa type Ha - deep myofascial release po) And to ice their muscles down. You should be ashamed of yourself for thinking she is asking for help for the Ganda lang. May god have mercy on your soul.

      Delete
    18. FYI - other countries support their athletes especially financially. Read about how China supports their athletes from a young age and you will be amazed.

      Delete
    19. Kapag pumunta sya dun, hindi sya si Hidilyn Diaz, she will be regarded as the PHILIPPINES' representative for that sport. So no, what she's asking for is not for vanity's sake, it's for the country's.

      Delete
  3. Go set up a go fund me and I’d be happy to donate my allowance the week. I’m a student, I don’t have much but if we chip in maybe we can get her enough funds for the training.

her duty is to perform well and bring honor to the nation.
the gov't and the people ought to support our teams.
      your logic is misplaced terribly.

    4. Wala siya nakuha hinde binigay sa kanya.. this is according to my Friend na nag train kay hidilyn. Its Not 5million its 9m dapat.

    5. Thats hers, not for the whole country. She work hard for that and im sure that she always contribute to their financial needs. Ano yun, sya lng gagastos s lhat, pro ang government at bandwagon pinoy (like 12:37 and 12:36, 12:22, and more) mkikijoin ride lng kung nanalo sya or kung sinuman manalo n atleta? My God! Just like at other countries like Korea and Us, they fund their athletes and athletes have and save their earning from being an athlete. Kya hndi naasenso ang sport s bansa natin eh

    8. Besh, you dont know kung gaank kaexpensive ang training equipment pa lang

      Delete
    9. People need to realise that sports is expensive and athletes have a shelf life. Imagine giving up the best years of your life training for something you can probably only do till your 30s. I’m sure you all make at least 350k a year and have the chance to do so until retirement age. Do the math diba?

      Delete
    10. TRUELALOO 9:56! Maliit ang 5 million sa totoo lang. If she was a regular individual, single, no family to support, no sport to train for, siguro parang malaki - pero hindi pa din.

    5. Oo 7:20. Millions. Try mo maging atleta. And hello may pamilya din sya. Kumakain sya, kumakain sila.

Do you know how much private corporations spend on basketball teams?

  13. It's a case of PSC said and Hidilyn said. What I wanna know is if she's asking training funds because she doesn't receive any, or if what she receives isn't enough? And if not, did she ask, formally, in letter or the like, PSC for her training needs? Did PSC receive any requests from her before she asked help online?

IMO, it was very unprofessional and very crass of Hidilyn to fish for "help" that way. Don't get me wrong, I was expecting proofs of request for additional assistance from the government. I was also expecting proofs of funding disbursements from PSC when they countered her allegations.

    4. 10:03 Hidilyn is also a soldier apart from being an athlete. I don't find her "mabait", nor do I find her humble. I see her shameless and she whines too much. It's grating to the nerves that she's running to socmed without proof she isn't provided for her trainings by the government, the army, and private groups such as that of MVP and Alcantara and Sons 9:13. Again, I reiterate for both sides to show their proofs on their claims. I despise drama and prefer to cut the chase.

Dahil sa same lack of support. Si micheal martinez ng skating was funded by SM (?), need p private funding. Asan na budget for sports??!?!

Wag kayong ano na nayayabangan kay hidilyn. Ano ba ung prize money nya dati?May pinapakain syang pamilya malamang. Kairita kayo.

    1. Pinatayuan po siya ng bagong gym. She is the most financially supported athlete in the country. Bayad ng government lahat ng trainings maski out of the country pati ang salary and expenses ng foreigner coach niya. Hindi naman masama humingi dahil she brings pride to the country. Sana lang linawin niya, is it help for her co-athletes?

    1. Hobby? Olympic sport yan.

Sabihin na natin she got the whole amount. Prize nya yun. She’s not supposed to use that for training nor improvement of her training facilities. Government responsible dapat dun. Sports commission. Olympic winners get to spend their prize money however they want.

    3. Isa pa tong shunga. Hobby.

May cash prizes and promises. May endorsements.
