Her grandmother from her dad's side is American so technically she is considered a foreigner.
ESQ. kasi can be a lawyer and/or from a noble family as per description. Movie producer and writer ang common info about him sa Google search.
1:49, in the UK, Esquire (Esq.), is just another form of address as a substitute for Mister (Mr.). It doesn’t mean that person is from a noble family. If he’s from a noble family, his title would at least be a Lord. That’s the lowest nobility title in the UK.
4:00 AM, you’re wrong, esquire doesn’t mean they have a royal status. It’s just a courtesy form of address to commoners, similar to Mister. If you look at the name tags on the photos at Ascot, you’ll notice that men that doesn’t have a title has Esquire at the end of their name.
12:33 inggit ka lang, if someone invites you to something like this hindi ka pupunta? what was she supposed to wear? something that makes her look like basura?
If you speak with a Filipino accent di ka nila maiintindihan. You do need to copy how they speak-- American or British accent. At same time, they will be more comfortable with you
12:58 she studied at CSA so I will assume her English is pretty good. Kung may accent masama na? If you've been hanging around other English speakers kahit papano mahahawa ang accent mo.
You have to copy their accent, really? Other nationalities don’t care about accents.
Other nationalities stick to their English accents, others dont have accent just plain English and naiintindihan naman.
Hate yhose people trying hard to have an accent. Hello i have friends who are english, Australians, kiwi and Americans, and i speak normal english po and not with an accent. Fyi naintindihan nila akong mabuti kahit walang accent and they're comfortable with me as their friend po. Pa as if ka lang masyado @1:53,feelingera ka lang tulad ni lobi, ahahaha..
2:49 May point si 1:53. Pag itim kausap ko sa work- I tend to copy how they talk kasi mas naintindihan nila ako. Pag puti kausap ko, I try to imitate how they talk as well. Not trying to be pretentious- para lAng mas maiiwasan ang miscommunication.
1:53 Lalo na sa Europe na maraming languages, you would hear English spoken in various accents. So yeah, wag na magpanggap and embrace your identity. If you get to stay there long then the adoption of the local accent may come naturally.
2:49 mali ka dyan. pretty sure 1:53 lives in or has been to an english-speaking country and i completely agree. it’s not to be pretentious, it’s to be more coherent.
1:53 OA naman. I've been working with an AU team for nearly a decade. Ako lang ang pinoy. Normal filipino way lang ako, walang slang, naiintindihan naman nila. There was never a "need" for me to speak like an aussie.
Same here 9:43. I've worked here in Canada for 20 years. Sa workplace samu't sari yung lahi and everyone speaks in a different accent. According sa pinang-galingan nila as most of us are immigrants. Yung ilan, second generation na. And yet we all understood each other and no one need to copy the accents of those native-born here. Wala din naman kasing mamimintas sa iyo dahil we all accept that we all came from somewhere.
I disagree. Our daughter has an American accent but needs to speak with a Brit accent for work and for her kids. She was not aware that she was slowly affecting the Brit accent when she talks to us. It is considerate of Lovi to speak so for easy communication.
Excuse me, people.. Matanong ko lang, does anybody here understand what SLANG means? Slang kayo ng slang dyan eh tingnan nyo muna ano ibig sabihin. It's NOT the manner of speaking per se or the pronunciation, its the choice of words -Informal language.
5:50 thank you. Someone finally pointed this out. Slang means informal expressions of words or phrases. FYI lng po yan. Baka thwang ibig nila sabihin? Lol
At least she's putting herself out there to find love. So kung ito man o hindi, let's just be happy that she's living her best life. Looking at her IG she seems happy naman, nagtatagalog pa nga siya sa mga posts niya eh so I dont get why people say TH siya.
1:33PM and you are teying too hard as well te. You are not even a celebrity . Lovi is a celebrity and that is how they do. Ano ba ipinaglalaban mo? Ang pumantay sa isang celebrety? Don ka sa katulad mo na feelingera. Nasa abroad din ako but i hate people like you.
1:33 obviously you are not enjoying the sunset in Waikiki because you are on your pc/phone/tablet bashing someone instead of putting it down and enjoying what you have which is what Lovi is doing.
I agree. These people hate seeing others happy. They must lead REALLY sad and boring lives. I applaud a woman who lives her life the way she wants it, and it seems ganun si Lovi. Walang mali.
May problema ba kayo kay Lovi? Not a fan but I like how she dresses. Give credit where it is due. Lovi is pretty and having fun. I'm sure kung maimbitahan kayo sa royal ascot magkukumahog din kayong mag maganda dahil masisayan mo sa malayo ang royal family na in attendance. Wag na bitter mga baks. Maiksi ang buhay para maging ampalaya for life.
Napaka trying hard maging foreigner ni ate mong lobi.
ReplyDeleteWhy? She’s considered foreigner to that country...
DeleteYou think anon 1233? Are you coming from a beautiful and positive place or a place of darkness and bitterness?
Deletewelcome to the world of pa-global.
DeleteYou are obviously inggit. Lol.
DeleteHahaha totoo! 12:23
DeleteShe doesn’t need to try hard to be a foreigner in England 🙄
DeleteLol true 9:32!
DeleteLOVI IS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN AND STUDIED PRIMARY AND HIGH SCHOOL IN THE U.S.
DeleteShe does not need to try hard. She is one 12:33. Ikaw ba ?
DeleteHow does one get invited to Royal Ascot? Sarap naman.
DeleteHer grandmother from her dad's side is American so technically she is considered a foreigner.
Delete6:22, no she's not. wag kang mang-imbento.
1:55 - SHE IS. SHE STUDIED IN CSA BUT SA U.S. SIYA LUMAKI TALAGA. PUMUNTA LANG SIYA DITO PARA MAG-SHOWBIZ PERO MALAKI PA MUHA NIYA NUN.
DeleteLawyer pala bf nya..
ReplyDeleteGanda ng pagkakagawa ng ilong ni lobi
ReplyDeleteAt panga at ipin at marami pang iba. LOL
Delete2:01 never naman naging pangit si Lovi, she looks exotic and tanned even before after all, she's the daughter of fpj..guapo and mestizo!
DeleteMay "esq." after sa surname ang guy. From a noble family sa UK ba yan? Movie producer and writer kasi ang info sa kanya.
ReplyDeleteHello Anon 12:43 it's an abbreviation for Esquire, a title usually used after the name of a man or a woman who is a lawyer:)
DeleteEsq (esquire) means he’s a lawyer
DeleteEsq stands for Esquire, used for practicing lawyer in America.
Deletelawyer baks.
DeleteEsq. is short for esquire, meaning a lawyer. He’s not from a noble family.
DeleteEsq as a lawyer is common in the US. But in the UK, no. It is actually just MR or Mister. Meaning you are a man without a peer title. Not a Lord, etc.
Delete1:13 is correct, sa US lang ang Esq = lawyer.
DeleteESQ. kasi can be a lawyer and/or from a noble family as per description. Movie producer and writer ang common info about him sa Google search.
Delete1:49, in the UK, Esquire (Esq.), is just another form of address as a substitute for Mister (Mr.). It doesn’t mean that person is from a noble family. If he’s from a noble family, his title would at least be a Lord. That’s the lowest nobility title in the UK.
Deleteeto daw yung ibig sabihin:
Delete"In Britain, it is an unofficial title of respect, having no precise significance, which is used to denote a high but indeterminate social status."
Esq in UK means a landowner. Not a titled peer but recognized as ranked in a community hierarchy. A gentleman vs an ordinary peasant.
DeleteEsquire in the US is a title given to a lawyer. In the U.K, esquire is given to someone of royal status out of respect.
Delete4:00 AM, you’re wrong, esquire doesn’t mean they have a royal status. It’s just a courtesy form of address to commoners, similar to Mister. If you look at the name tags on the photos at Ascot, you’ll notice that men that doesn’t have a title has Esquire at the end of their name.
DeleteGo na yan Lobi! Good first husband material.
ReplyDelete12:33 inggit ka lang, if someone invites you to something like this hindi ka pupunta? what was she supposed to wear? something that makes her look like basura?
ReplyDeleteYes, may dress code diyan and required talaga to wear hats.
DeleteIt’s her fake accent and nakakainis. masyadong trying hard. magpakatotoo ka girl
If you speak with a Filipino accent di ka nila maiintindihan. You do need to copy how they speak-- American or British accent. At same time, they will be more comfortable with you

Other nationalities stick to their English accents, others dont have accent just plain English and naiintindihan naman.

Ok? Taga US din ako kaya wag ka nga
DeleteHope last guy na yan ni ateng Lovi.
ReplyDeleteButi kung seryosohin siya niyan!
DeleteWhy? She's young, she's having the time of her life. She can enjoy whomever company she wants to before she gets tied down to one man.
DeleteAt least she's putting herself out there to find love. So kung ito man o hindi, let's just be happy that she's living her best life. Looking at her IG she seems happy naman, nagtatagalog pa nga siya sa mga posts niya eh so I dont get why people say TH siya.
