I’m a super fan of Judy Ann Santos since Mara Clara days. The two times I saw her up close were on her down time. One in the supermarket and one in Serendra. Said hi to her and she said hi to me too. cameras have made it hard for celebrities to distinguish real fans from non-fans. nowadays, even if you're not a fan and you see a celebrity, you just whip out your phone, take photo with said celebrity and show it off to your friends. it feels insincere kasi. parang it feels insincere that you'd rather take a photo of the celebrity instead of interacting with them and showing that you are a true genuine fan. i think un lang naman talaga ang mas naapreciate nila kasi theyre just people din. not attractions na pwede mo lang pikturan then leave when you get what you want.

ReplyDeleteKwento ko lang. Nagpa picture ako kay Yael noon sa airport kahit hindi siya nagwo-work. Siguro timing lang din, nagkataon na okay lang sa kanya na magpa pic noon. Ayoko i-judge si Angge, siguro at the time wala siya sa mood. Nung "Pangako Sa Iyo" days kasi may fan na nagpa picture kay Angelica Panganiban na fan pero sabi niya pinagtiyagaan lang niya si Angelica kasi wala daw siya pic with Daniel Padilla. Nakita ni Angge ang post, kaya nagalit siya. Parang sabi niya hindi na daw siya papayag sa fan magpa picture. Naintindihan ko si Angge.

Also, not all who ask for pictures are fans that watch their shows, movies or spend for that celebrity. They're in it for the sake of posting and bragging. So in reality, they don't owe anything back. Accommodating fans are outside the job description.

DeleteI’m a super fan of Judy Ann Santos since Mara Clara days. The two times I saw her up close were on her down time. One in the supermarket and one in Serendra. Said hi to her and she said hi to me too. But I didn’t take a photo with her because I chose to respect her private life. I understand and respect Angelica’s choice.

ReplyDeletecameras have made it hard for celebrities to distinguish real fans from non-fans. nowadays, even if you're not a fan and you see a celebrity, you just whip out your phone, take photo with said celebrity and show it off to your friends. it feels insincere kasi. parang it feels insincere that you'd rather take a photo of the celebrity instead of interacting with them and showing that you are a true genuine fan. i think un lang naman talaga ang mas naapreciate nila kasi theyre just people din. not attractions na pwede mo lang pikturan then leave when you get what you want.
