Agree and disagree.. Disagree kasi si james yes at first pareho ng mga comments nya but now as the show goes on, may substance na kahit paano ang comments unlike Moira mejo play safe most of the time.

James’ comments are always firm and fair actually. Maybe he says them without the humor of Vice or the authority of Regine but I find myself agreeing with him more than any of the other judges.

The fact that Moira didn't get Regine's point (until it was explained to her) just proves that her singing style and genre is really common and she's not qualified to be a judge. Honestly, I can't see her singing any song other than the same old, same old sappy stuff she does.

Ang layo nila sa mga judges ng the voice. Parang itong mga to walang connect sa isat isa. Not like sa voice lea sarah and bamboo seems to be so at ease with eache other.

Mas gusto ko to Idol Phils kasi consistent yung qualities na hinahanap ng mga judges. Yung talagang magaling at may potential to become a star. Yung winner ng the voice yung champion mismo waley. Mas ok pa yung career ng mga runners up.
Awkward yung first episode but the chemistry between the group has grown since. Not a fan of James, but infernes he has become assertive at may sariling disposisyon na. It's only Moira who needs to step up so far. Nagpag-iiwanan siya ng bus. Puro "shobra" at "amazing" ang comment

Ang hinahanap ni regine, kapag narinig mo yung boses, alam mo kung sino yung kumakanta. Isipin mo lahat ng singers na may staying power, na hanggang ngayon sikat padin, may sarili silang boses. Sarah, Jed, Kyla, Lani, Yeng, etc. Their voices are very very distict and very unique. And mangyayari lang yon kung yung singer ay totoo sa sarili niya.
Iniipit kasi ng mga girls yung boses nila para magtunog-Moira. Nilalagyan ng airy breathy tones, may pa-twang tapos buong kanta ganern. Ayaw nila ilabas yung tunay at natural na timbre ng boses at dun bad trip si Mareng Regine.

Regine is just being real. Yan ang reason why she didn't judge for a long time - kasi she's very transparent. It's actually very refreshing. I'd take her over judges na fake at bland smile with matching manufactured reassurances and sugarcoated words sayo pero ligwak ka pala.
Because that's how the real world works. Pag nagconcert ka at nagkamali ka, hindi mo mapipigilan ang reaction sayo ng tao pag sumimangot sila or anything. Kung magaling ka talaga, you wouldn't be spooked over the facial reaction of your audience.

Kulang na kulang yung mga inputs niya sa pag judge. Wala na ngang energy yung pagkanta niya, pati sa judging waley din.

The more i see Moira's performances the more na narerealize ko na one-trick pony siya. Yung hindi niya pagiging versatile translates to her being a judge. Walang sense sinasabi niya sa mga contestants.

Dahil totoo naman na nagsestrain na yung boses? If you hit a note na walang support, kesyo mababa yan o mataas, magse-strain talaga ang boses mo. And for someone who is very familiar with the technicalities of singing alam nya sinasabi nya. Halos lahat ng may comment sya na nagse-strain na ang boses kitang kita naman na they are hitting notes beyond their normal range. So hindi ko alam bakit hindi nya dapat i-point out yon e sobrang obvious.

Ofc kapag kumakanta ka, ittry mo kung hanggang saan maaabot ng power mo, para malaman mo kung hanggang saan ka lang talaga. Straining kapag sobrang taas na beyond your limit na tapos pinipilit mo pa rin. Eh yung mga contestants, hindi pa nga ganun kataas yung kinakanta nila, straining pa rin comment nya. Esp dun sa girl na kumanta ng chasing pavements, eh kung tutuusin hindi naman yun mataas pero tunog mataas kasi nilagyan ng power nung girl, kumbaga binubuga niya talaga pero hindi sya sumisigaw dun, tas straining pa rin walandyo.

Daig na daig ni James si Moira sa pagjudge. Sa umpisa duda din ako bakit nasali yung 2 sa roster of judges pero so far James is actually doing good. Si Moira on the other hand, sobrang walang naiaambag. Walang kwenta mag-judge. Ang pabebe nakakainis. Pag siya na yung magcocomment, parang namamatay yung segment sa sobrang waley.

james made sense, sinabi nya na alam nya na hinahanap pa ng contestant yung style nya pero nevertheless, nagustuhan nya yung performance. regine and vice made sense too. moira medyo shy pa sya so yung comment nya is web; challenge sa kanya na panindigan ang pagiging judge, hindi pwede pa-cutesy, pangarap ng mga tao ang naka-salalay. and please moira, reg and vice did not say they did not appreciate the girl’s talent - they just wanted to hear how this contestant can differentiate herself from the others kasi for them, pare pareho ang sound.
A lot of people underestimated James' credibility to be a judge. Very wrong. James is a talented person and a creative one too. He writes his own songs and sings it too. When he acts, he has depth, his only issue is not being able to communicate well because he is not very fluent yet in Tagalog. With his clear, non competitive and happy disposition in life, he will last in showbiz.
Sana last na ni Moira yan. Dami daming mas may credibility magjudge eh. Walang sense lagi mga kinocomment niya. Bakit ba sumikat yan? Well ung mga nagsasabi na di ok na judge si Regine hindi lanf kayo sanay na super technical and honest ang judge. Saka when did she became rude? So ang siste ba judge pa ang mag aadjust sa contestants? Plus si Regine nga lagi ang dahilan kung bakit maingay ang show. Whatever technicalities na binabanggit nya, she knows it by heart because she can apply those. Gusto ata ng mga to puro papuri sabihin ng judges. Super agree. As judge, you have to be truthful kahit na alam mong baka di magustuhan ng nag audition o ng fans ng nag audition. Kudos to regine for being professional and soing what she is supposed to do as judge.
I love the judges chemistry. Ganyan dapat iba iba ang pananaw ng judges at kelangan honest sila. Kudos to Regine and moira. It added spice sa show kasi alam ng tao na may paninindigan sila pag may gustong ipaglaban
that's not even chemistry lol chemistry means that their composition (good and bad) "jell" together unlike here they really don't have what you claim as chemistry

In fairness sa show na to, pag di ka magaling sa audition ligwak ka kaagad sa audition pa lang. May isang nakalusot pero parang underdog yun. Mukhang may maibubuga naman. The variety of music and strengths ng mga pumasa is nakakabilib. Exciting times ahead.
Sabi nga nila Don’t aim to be just current, be timeless. Yung tatagal hanggang sa next generation. Call me an old soul pero hindi ko ipagpapalit ang mga kanta at singer noon. Hindi ako fan ng biritan, fan ako ng boses at kantang makahulugan hindi para may maisulat lang.
Mas okay na okay pa mga judges ng TNT. Dun na lang sana kumuha ng judge for idol ph instead of Moira na walang kwenta mag judge. Ang daming pagpipilian dun. Idol Philippines is such a surprise! Good set of judges as they are balanced. Vice giving dose of funny moments, Regine making technical comments, James is upfront and is sensible, Moira is inspirational and chill. Actually i'm liking it. Those people who says otherwise are funny though, they kept on watching the show but kept on bad mouthing it. Advice: Don't watch! The show will remain a top rater (agb and kantar) with or without you. Top trending and the most popular idol franchise in the PH... Look at how you crumble just to comment here. :) Peace out!
Tumpak. Isa sa pinaka sensible na comments i read so far. I love this Idol Phils kasi di typical set or panel of judges. These are real artists who knows real talent and star qualities. I trust the judges will select the best contestant worthy for Idol Phils title.
Ako din. I like the show very much. It gives me hope na pwede naman pala maging credible at totoong laban ng talent, charisma at boses ang singing competition ng Pinas. Kung ibang judges pa yan at kung wala si Regine jan, malamang walan or limited lang ang variety sa nakapasok sa audition. Regine judges not just based on impression, impact but based on technicalities ng delivery. Tama ba ang pasok at phrasing, nasa tono ba, hindi ba strained of strugling ang dating, kaya pa bang idevelop at istretch yung boses, etc. Me and my family always watch the show.

I don’t agree with Regine’s comment. Not everyone wants to hear the annoying sound YOU make & expect! How rude! The girl’s sound is actually nice. I’m really surprised that everyone here is agreeing with her just bec she’s famous (doesn’t mean she’s right and not everyone is a fan of her)
because you completely missed the point, honey. regine was asking them contestants to sing the song using their own vocals. do not mimic and clone the vocals, enunciation, breathy and airy tone of the original singer.
Your hear regine’s raw and natural voice when she sings. Contestants should do the same. It will not help the contestants if they try to mimic and copy other people’s voice. This is not amateur singing contest na ok lang kumanta ng celine dion song boses at tunog celine, or kumanta ng mat monroe boses mat. This is Idol Phils. Ur voice, star appeal, stamina, attitude will be judged accordingly hindi kung faano ka kagaling komopya ng boses ng iba.
Regine is not Asia’s Songbird for nothing. Regine’s voice is so pleasant to the ear kaya nga songbird. Very feminine, very soft and relaxing but can also blow off araneta or sm moa’s roof when the song requires for it. Her voice is not only know for range but also for power and sustenance

Tama naman si miss Regine. Almost lahat ng singers ngayon ganyan ang boses and halata mo na pilit. For example, yung commercial ng Great Taste, yung "sweet linamnam na lyrics. At first, I thought it was Moira but si Janella pala.
Sa mga nagsasabi naman na bakit daw nung time ni miss Regine may gumagaya sa kanya, puro birit. Yes puro birit pero hindi naman nila tinatry gayahin boses ni miss Regine. Yung mga gumagaya talagang impersonators ni miss Regine.
Pakaarte nitong si Moira. Buti na lang Ms Reg nagpakatotoo ka. Nakakapika na kase yung ganyang mga style na alam na alam naman na gingaya lang. Hindi naman sinasabing bumirit ka o ano, basta kantahin lang with your natural voice. Etong si Moira halatang walang alam sa technicalities ng singing. Wala sa hulog mga pabebeng pinagsasabi. Natuwa sya sa una kase alam nyang ginagaya sya. Kitang kita sa camera pamumula at pagkapahiya nya nung nagsalita na ng katotohanan si Regine. Goodjob songbird!
1:59 well at least kahit mag-arte arte si Songbird, may karapatan sya. 30 plus years na syang singer at kung ilang albums na nag-hit at awards ang nakuha nya. At may naiaambag sya na comments at makabuluhang feedback sa mga contestants hindi yung arte arte pabebe pero lasheng naman lagi.
Pakibigyan ng red bull si Moira. Napakaboring at ang bland ng personality. Bakit siya nandiyan? Mas madaming mas may K kesa sa kanya. I was surprised by James Reid. May sense ang sinasabi, unlike si Moira na pabebe.

Regine is just being real. Yan ang reason why she didn't judge for a long time - kasi she's very transparent. It's actually very refreshing. I'd take her over judges na fake at bland smile with matching manufactured reassurances and sugarcoated words sayo pero ligwak ka pala.
DeleteBecause that's how the real world works. Pag nagconcert ka at nagkamali ka, hindi mo mapipigilan ang reaction sayo ng tao pag sumimangot sila or anything. Kung magaling ka talaga, you wouldn't be spooked over the facial reaction of your audience.
I agree with regine. It is the same sound. Same nakakaantok sound. Butthurt si moira sa episode na to kasi may point si regine eh. I honestly do not know why moira was chosen for this job. Kulang na kulang yung mga inputs niya sa pag judge. Wala na ngang energy yung pagkanta niya, pati sa judging waley din.

And for someone who is very familiar with the technicalities of singing alam nya sinasabi nya. Halos lahat ng may comment sya na nagse-strain na ang boses kitang kita naman na they are hitting notes beyond their normal range. So hindi ko alam bakit hindi nya dapat i-point out yon e sobrang obvious.

Nabobother din ako sa mga comments ni regine na puro strain, kahit hindi naman. Ofc kapag kumakanta ka, ittry mo kung hanggang saan maaabot ng power mo, para malaman mo kung hanggang saan ka lang talaga. Straining kapag sobrang taas na beyond your limit na tapos pinipilit mo pa rin. Eh yung mga contestants, hindi pa nga ganun kataas yung kinakanta nila, straining pa rin comment nya. Esp dun sa girl na kumanta ng chasing pavements, eh kung tutuusin hindi naman yun mataas pero tunog mataas kasi nilagyan ng power nung girl, kumbaga binubuga niya talaga pero hindi sya sumisigaw dun, tas straining pa rin walandyo.

DeleteWell ung mga nagsasabi na di ok na judge si Regine hindi lanf kayo sanay na super technical and honest ang judge. Saka when did she became rude? So ang siste ba judge pa ang mag aadjust sa contestants? Plus si Regine nga lagi ang dahilan kung bakit maingay ang show. Whatever technicalities na binabanggit nya, she knows it by heart because she can apply those. Gusto ata ng mga to puro papuri sabihin ng judges. ReplyDeleteIdol Philippines is such a surprise! Good set of judges as they are balanced. Vice giving dose of funny moments, Regine making technical comments, James is upfront and is sensible, Moira is inspirational and chill. Actually i'm liking it. Those people who says otherwise are funny though, they kept on watching the show but kept on bad mouthing it. Advice: Don't watch! The show will remain a top rater (agb and kantar) with or without you. Top trending and the most popular idol franchise in the PH... Look at how you crumble just to comment here. :) Peace out!
ReplyDeleteTumpak. Isa sa pinaka sensible na comments i read so far. I love this Idol Phils kasi di typical set or panel of judges. These are real artists who knows real talent and star qualities. I trust the judges will select the best contestant worthy for Idol Phils title.

DeleteAko din. I like the show very much. It gives me hope na pwede naman pala maging credible at totoong laban ng talent, charisma at boses ang singing competition ng Pinas. Kung ibang judges pa yan at kung wala si Regine jan, malamang walan or limited lang ang variety sa nakapasok sa audition. Regine judges not just based on impression, impact but based on technicalities ng delivery. Tama ba ang pasok at phrasing, nasa tono ba, hindi ba strained of strugling ang dating, kaya pa bang idevelop at istretch yung boses, etc. Me and my family always watch the show.

ReplyDeleteMas gusto ko to Idol Phils. Walang haling echos ang mga judges. Di tulad ng the voice na puro maganda ang comments pero ligwak naman ang contestant.

ReplyDeleteThe show is really good. May credibility ang pagpili ng papasa at di papasa. So far, nakaka excite kung papano ang labanan at makeover ng mga nakapasok para sa battle rounds.

ReplyDeleteSobrang agree with regine’s comment! Lahat ganyan ngayon parang hirap na hirap magpronounce ng tagalog and kulang sa energy hahaha! Airy is the right term. The likes of Barbie Almalbis/Kitchie nadal were females who sang acoustic but didn’t sound trying hard pabebe like them. Hahaha

ReplyDeleteI don’t agree with Regine’s comment. Not everyone wants to hear the annoying sound YOU make & expect! How rude! The girl’s sound is actually nice. I’m really surprised that everyone here is agreeing with her just bec she’s famous (doesn’t mean she’s right and not everyone is a fan of her)
ReplyDeletebecause you completely missed the point, honey. regine was asking them contestants to sing the song using their own vocals. do not mimic and clone the vocals, enunciation, breathy and airy tone of the original singer.
DeleteYour hear regine’s raw and natural voice when she sings. Contestants should do the same. It will not help the contestants if they try to mimic and copy other people’s voice. This is not amateur singing contest na ok lang kumanta ng celine dion song boses at tunog celine, or kumanta ng mat monroe boses mat. This is Idol Phils. Ur voice, star appeal, stamina, attitude will be judged accordingly hindi kung faano ka kagaling komopya ng boses ng iba.
DeleteRegine is not Asia’s Songbird for nothing. Regine’s voice is so pleasant to the ear kaya nga songbird. Very feminine, very soft and relaxing but can also blow off araneta or sm moa’s roof when the song requires for it. Her voice is not only know for range but also for power and sustenance

DeleteAng galing sumalo ni vice. Umpisa pa lang naiba na fez ni ate reg. Alam na nyang yung sound ni moira is the current trend and vice pointed it also na nung uso din birit ni regine (na ginaya kina whitney at mariah) e ganun din ang sound ng kumakanta. Mas agree ako ke james na hanapin ng idol contstant yung genre nya. Regine for the old sound and moira for the current trend.

ReplyDeleteAgree. Yan din talaga napansin ko ngayon. Regine wants to correct and guide the contestants at this early stage kung papano mag thrive sa industry ng OPM. You have to sell your own sound if you want to make a mark in the industry.

ReplyDeleteTama naman si miss Regine. Almost lahat ng singers ngayon ganyan ang boses and halata mo na pilit. For example, yung commercial ng Great Taste, yung "sweet linamnam na lyrics. At first, I thought it was Moira but si Janella pala.
ReplyDeleteSa mga nagsasabi naman na bakit daw nung time ni miss Regine may gumagaya sa kanya, puro birit. Yes puro birit pero hindi naman nila tinatry gayahin boses ni miss Regine. Yung mga gumagaya talagang impersonators ni miss Regine.

ReplyDeletePakaarte nitong si Moira. Buti na lang Ms Reg nagpakatotoo ka. Nakakapika na kase yung ganyang mga style na alam na alam naman na gingaya lang. Hindi naman sinasabing bumirit ka o ano, basta kantahin lang with your natural voice. Etong si Moira halatang walang alam sa technicalities ng singing. Wala sa hulog mga pabebeng pinagsasabi. Natuwa sya sa una kase alam nyang ginagaya sya. Kitang kita sa camera pamumula at pagkapahiya nya nung nagsalita na ng katotohanan si Regine. Goodjob songbird!

Delete1:59 well at least kahit mag-arte arte si Songbird, may karapatan sya. 30 plus years na syang singer at kung ilang albums na nag-hit at awards ang nakuha nya. At may naiaambag sya na comments at makabuluhang feedback sa mga contestants hindi yung arte arte pabebe pero lasheng naman lagi.
