Yeah, patients should not be allowed to store these syringes after they have been used. It is unsanitary and falls under biohazard waste category.
Also, the concept of these photos also have morbidness about them, I wonder as to the state of mind of the mother. I hope the doctor who allowed for these syringes to be utilized at home have them collected and disposed of properly in accordance with the proper health code regulations.
Used syringes should be disposed properly. I am diabetic and take my blood sugar level 4x a day, inject myself with insulin 4x a day (luckily I use pen needles). I can not picture myself keeping these needles as a souvenir. Unsanitary, dangerous if someone is poked accidentally, and most of all, can land in the hands of undesirables. Once used, they are put inside a well sealed container and disposed in a designated area. I am not sure if the Philippines have a proper disposal area for needles.
Guys - ang arte nyo naman. She was making a statement and I’m sure she doused these syringes with alcohol, soap, water, vinegar etc and kept them locked away just for this. Also - it was used on her - Not random people. She isn’t stupid naman - I’m fairly certain she was careful. Relax people
May mga needles pa. Even if she doused them with water, alcohol, etc... hindi talaga souvenir ang mga yan. Dispose of it properly. Biohazardous waste yan. She can take it back to the clinic that provided her so they can throw it away for her according properly.
What do you mean by that? I think it’s proper naman to call this out. I work in the hospital and used needles should be discarded properly. Accidents like needle prick could happen, and yes, that’s dangerous. That is not being ‘pa woke’ or what have you. You need to be informed kasi you sound like you know nothing yet you have the liberty to call the comments pa-woke!
Anong pa-woke? Yung keeping used needles may be hazardous sa health and unhygienic? Common sense lang. ikaw ba itatago mo yung used cotton ball or tissue? Duh.
1:09 omg! That was a funny joke and we all know na she wont do it!
Ang advice lang naman sa doctor ko when i had to inject myself daily was not to throw it directly into the trash. Ipunin sa isang empty water bottle then throw it. Sa sg pa eto ha. So no need special disposal.
Mom shamers in the house! Her babies, her life, her choices. LOL. The caption was touching. If we only see beyond our JUDGMENTAL eyes, it's about the sacrifices of a mother. And no mother deserves to be bashed.
You guys dont get the point. She has apas. Kino consider ng body niya na foreign body ang baby - so her body’s defenses kill the baby. She needs to inject herself 2-3 times everyday so her body wont think na delikado ang baby sa katawan ng mommy.
.... the fact na naka ilang miscarriage siya, at ilang iyak at sakit ang pinagdaanan niya para mabuntis at matapos ang pagbubuntis — that is the whole concept of this photo.
You guys won’t understand kung wala kayong problema mabuntis at wala kayong problema sa pagbubuntis. So please, just be happy for her.
Very touching post

Yes, it should be. Classified as biohazardous waste so separate from regular trash dapat.
DeleteItutusok ko sa kanila... what a very bad taste joke.
ReplyDeleteKinilabutan po ako. Parand di ko kaya titigan bilng may phobia ako sa needles.
ReplyDeletemore than being ‘nakakakilabot’, i think keeping these needles is a health hazard.

Deletethis is not about pawoke. unsanitary talaga ang used syringe. plus meron pang needles.
DeleteOld concept. Someone did this already. As in same implementation.
