  2. Ganyan din ako magisip noon. I don't have the right to say to another woman not to have an abortion even if I won't do it myself, choice nya yun. Kaya lang nung nakita ko sa YouTube yun talk about pro life and Kung paano ginagawa yun abortion nanghina ako, nakakaiyak.

    1. As the term implies it's your choice. The funny thing is puti choice doesn't mean they will automatically get an abortion. The point is they can choose.

      Delete
    2. @201 pro choice is making lawful the killing of helpless babies. I cannot abide by that. It is condoning the murder of innocents. The only 2 humane choices for me are to either raise the child or to give it up for adoption.

      Delete
    3. sorry nobody should decide for other people. di naman kayo ang gagastos at magpapalaki. prolife pero pinapabayaan ang mga bata sa lansangan. how plastic diba

      Delete
    4. @255 judgmental mo. Di ko pinapabayaan anak ko. Nag cocontribute ako sa mga orphanage at nag vovolunteer. Kung ayaw mo gumastos at magpa laki iwan mo sa ampunan O ipaampon mo, hwag mong patayin yun Bata.

      Delete
    5. did you not read what she just said? Adoption or raise the child nga sabe. As if if you let a child live their only choice is to live in the streets. How about we do something about that too? Oh because it’s easier to kill someone, that’s the solution we have for everything these days. Also, how hard is it to NOT have sex? Am I asexual or something because I don’t get how people can’t control themselves.

    6. The principles of the pro-life movement is to be pro-murder of the unborn child. It is not a matter of economics kaya Walang kinalaman yung “gastos” sa usapan 2:55. You can sugarcoat it with lots of rationalizations and intellectual and philosophical rhetoric to placate the guilt feelings of those who kill the unborn, but THAT IS what it is—murder. You support it. You condone the murder of innocents. End of story. Lea is again being “political” by sitting on the fence about it. Typical celebrity na ang habol public approval, whether she admits it or not, the only thing I agree with Lea Salonga is that audience members should turn off or silent their phones during stage performances.

    7. “Kung May condom naman bakit paabutin sa abortion”....

Do you even realized that women that had been raped will ask their rapist to put on a condom? I don’t think you’re thinking about the other reasons as to why someone would go to that length.

      Delete
    8. Trulaloo Anon 2:55am.

      Delete
    9. 2:45AM if you are so obsessed with “protecting life” can we also ask you to participate in a MANDATORY organ donation? Give up one of your healthy kidneys to someone who desperately needs it?

      Delete
    10. 2:45 give it up for adoption is your humane choice? You can't decide for other people. That's why we should be open for other choices. And it doesn't mean that if you're okay with abortion, magpapa abort ka na the minute na mabuntis ka. Choice mo to keep the fetus or not.

      Delete
    11. I agree 2:55. Mas cruel ang pagbuhay sa bata tapos papabayaan, if I were the child in that situation I'd rather be aborted kesa buhay nga ako pero ayaw naman saken ng parents ko.

      Delete
    12. 2:55 There is an option to put the baby up for adoption instead of murdering an innocent life just so you could live a good life.

      Delete
    13. @920 If you were the child, eh hindi Ikaw yun. Yun prochoice you are robbing the unborn child the right to live. Ubod kayo judgmental. Tumutulong ako sa mga orphanage, Nanay ako and wala Yaya by choice ever since even if I can afford. Pag may nakita akong street child binibigyan namin ng pagkain. Maraming pro choice ganyan. Marami who can afford nagpapaaral pa. Bakit? Kasi naniniwala ako life is sacred. We are all in this earth for each other not just for ourselves. Kayo lang nagpaparatang ng ganyan kasi sa totoo lang you are the ones who don't want to be bothered with children in need.

    15. 5:51 abortion due to rape is a *really* small percentage of abortions. 1.5% due to rape and incest. And yet this has been the main excuse of pro abortion people.

It's sad and terrible yes, but go thru the pregnancy and put the child up for adoption. Bakit papatay.

      Delete
    16. Napakarami nang mga batang up for adoption sa mga orphanage. Bakit pa dadagdagan? Ano gagawin na lang nating lahat last resort yung mga ampunan kapag ayaw natin sa batang pinagbuntis natin o hindi rin naman pala kayang buhayin after ipanganak? OK, this may sound off ha? Pero I said what I said.

Ha. the hypocrisy is real.

      Delete
    17. Honestly,we humans should be wiped out from this world. We breed destruction, hatred, diseases, and violence. We don't deserve this planet, we're killing it slowly, so nope there's no need to produce more.

Puro kayo nega. Habang may buhay mag pag asa! 4. I agree! It should be a choice plain and simple. Ask scientists where life starts para sa mga pro-life dito.

    5. All you pro-lifers are simply pro-birth. Why don't you try and stand up for the poor in society who have almost 0 quality of life? Then you will be able to convince me that you truly care about life, and not just what goes on inside a woman's uterus.

    6. Correct 2:21

      Delete
    8. This is just my two cents as a woman ok. There really is no black or white in this issue there is a grey area, i believe women should have the choice (and women and men should have an equal number of ration in passing any law regardless of any issue)but under some circumstances such has having an abortion when raped or when medical illness is present. Aside from that any form of contraceptives and sex education should accessible to the public. You cannot be pro life and not allow artificial birth-control nor can you be pro choice and say this is my body my choice, being pregnant is not your own doing you made that baby ( if given that woman was not raped/forced) with some one it is both your choice second do use abortion as an easy way out. i would like to emphasize on this one, abortion is not the key on solving issues with pregnancy but you are encouraging women or couples to just run from their responsibilities or consequences and don't tell me about teen age pregnancy because at the end of the day lets be real they are not old enough to have sex anyways and they should learn from that and be responsible for it. Abortion is not the answer but prevention is, its not a form of contraception nor is it even an option to be for convenience because abortion does predispose to be at risk to other illness such cervical or any reproductive cancer and when the time comes that if u would want to have a child, chances are you can have trouble conceiving one.

      Delete
    9. @1:30 Masasabi mo ba yan sa mga rapists? Or sa mga lalakeng gumagawa ng incest?

      Delete
    10. Sorry 2:21am pero GOD is much much bigger than those so-called scientists na human beings lang gaya natin! Kaya NO FOR ABORTION! If the woman does not like to have a baby, then ipaadopt na lang niya, simple! Kesa patayin througj abortion!

      Delete
    11. Maraming famous celebrities are products of unwanted pregnancies and their mothers chose not to have an abortion and fast forward to the future their conscience doesn't bother them and in fact they are glad they didn't have an abortion. That's what it means not choosing to deprive a life you just don't know what bright future holds for that life if from the start you choose to end it.

      Delete
    12. 9:40 wow pa adopt so easy to say.

    13. 8:48 myghad you're obtuse and being extreme! not all cases of unwanted pregnancies are from what you mentioned, mostly consented and enjoyed the dirty deed. You generalizing and putting it only because of those instances isn't enough to say abortion is ok

    14. 1:17 mahirap ba magpa adopt??? We are talking about the USA here. You can leave them in the hospital church police station fire station NO QUESTION ASKED they will take the baby.

    15. 11:12 so after makuha ng government, what happens to them?

    8. The Pro-Life and Pro-Choice thing doesn’t really make any sense at all, there is no Black and white in this issue. Your Pro life but you don’t support artificial contraceptives then Your Pro choice and yet woman have this believe that they are the only ones who has a say if the pregnancy can be terminated since its her body this is if given that she was not force or rape. I believe that abortion can be practiced if the mother is raped or if there is any medical problem present that will threaten the quality of life or well being of the mother or child.

Abortion is not the key, its not an escape goat readily available for peoples convince. You don’t under go the procedure because of the excuse that you can afford to have a child or your not ready because they are a lot of ways to prevent pregnancy and there are also other option after pregnancy such as adoption. People who encourage abortion because they just don’t want the pregnancy are irresponsible and selfish because you known the moment you sex you know you can get pregnant, and while for the people who are using teenage pregnancy to justify abortion is not even teaching the younger generation about responsibilities and consequences.
And also who will fight for the tiny humans? Who will fight for them if their parents won’t? If the reason of them being aborted is simply because they are not wanted nor the can afforded, like they just be thrown like a piece of trash. Aside from this abortion can also lead to other conditions that can affect the woman’s capability to bear a child or her well bell in general.

No I don’t agree that men should’ve pass this law nor do I agree that woman legislators are the only one who has a say on this. Because regardless of gender or anything this should be solved as a nation.

Yes have a free will, yes we have the right to have a choice every each and one of us regardless of anything but that doesn’t mean we can abuse it. There are things that we should do even if don’t like it specially if its because of our own doing, we should learn how to take responsibilities of our action. It is scary I know but the first step is having a good support system and a government that actually “governs” the nation together with its citizens.

    9. 1:31 that's the point. Hindi pa capable to feel and think. A heartbeat doesn't equate to life kapag wala pang brain. We have to be open to choices.

And you're misinformed. If medically necessary and will threaten the life of the mom, it is excluded. They can abort.

  14. My take: men are still reluctant to use condoms even with STD scares. Men still mostly expect women to manage the contraceptives. There are no contraceptives though that are 100% effective, for men and women. Even vasectomy and ligation can fail.

When there's an unexpected pregnancy though, I'd like to think that I can get it terminated if there are grave problems with the fetus, if the reason why I got pregnant is due to rape, and if by chance miscarriage started even if the fetus still have heartbeat. The last one, to prevent septic shock from happening. You can read the story of that Irish dentist who died due to bleeding for days and infection. Her doctor would not terminate the pregnancy as there's fetal heartbeats detected even if miscarriage is already happening.

Either way may lalabas na bata. Gusto mo ba buhay or Patay? In pieces or buo?

Dapat babae rin ang may decision. Being pro choice or pro abortion doesn't mean naman na you like to kill babies. It just means that we respect the decision of women on their OWN bodies. 27. Dito sa Pinas, legal man or hindi yan legal some women are doing it. At ang nakakalungkot pa dun is most of the time ang mga nag papaabort ay mga babae who’re engaging in pre marital sex. If you’re not ready to have a baby then use contraceptives or better yet don’t open your legs to anyone unless 100% ready ka na. I’ve seen this 1st hand, a friend of mine had an abortion. In a place, somewhere in Baclaran. Yung babae pa na nakasabay ng friend ko, it was not her 1st time to do it. Pang limang beses na. And mind you, costly din ang abortion para ka ng nanganak sa hospital. Nakakasad lang kasi for sure like any other laws, may mga intances na aabusuhin nila yan. Nakakalungkot.

  29. Most of the people who are pro choice and abortion have already been born, the irony. I don't think the choice to have an abortion should be that easy. Dapat may batayan. Kung life or death lang. Kung rape or incest yan pero wala naman life or death, just deliver the baby at iwan sa orphanage. Mali na nga, dadagdagan pa yun mali. Wala naman kinalaman yun Bata at nabuo sya. All the women I know who've had abortions admitted to me may regret sila and grief over what they did. Even Roe of Roe v Wade later in her life became a pro lifer.

    ReplyDelete
  30. For me, it should be case to case basis. If rape victim ka then you can be exempted. Pero yung mga mag papaabort lang dahil nabuntis sila ng bf nila and di pa sila ready, NO. The moment na binuka mo yang legs mo with your consent then you should be very ready to face the consequences. Be responsible.

  33. My problem with you pro-lifers is that you obsess so much either with what goes on in the womb, or the life that might have been. Once the baby is born, do you care at all about post-natal care? Sex education? Making contraception available for everyone? How about the quality of life for that "future baby"? Feeding programs, health, education? If you really cared about life, you would care about issues beyond abortion, and focus on the quality of life the government is able to give its people. YOU ARE SIMPLY PRO-BIRTH, NOT PRO-CHOICE.

Pro life are against legalizing it cuz they don’t want government to spend their tax dollars for what they think is immoral/murder. No one is stopping women here to get abortion. Me as pro life don’t want my tax money to fund it. It’s all about politics, election is coming in 2020 this is part of liberal propaganda, that conservative lawmakers are trying to control women. Most of the time, yung mga nagpapalaglag dyan ay mga nabuntis ng boyfriend nila and di pa sila ready for a baby either becos nag aaral pa sila, career oriented na babae or women who doesn’t want responsibility. If you don’t want a baby then don’t spread your legs. Period. But for people na ginawa na yun. It’s their choice. At the end of the day, sila naman ang haharap kay God to confess their sins.

  56. Here are my thoughts:
    1. First and foremost THERE ARE OTHER WAYS. PREVENTION IS ALWAYS BETTER.
    2. More EDUCATION centers and outlets esp to those under privileged. Awareness is better.
    3. More outlets or protection for those abused. For women and children.. Dito dapat sila nag focus ng Law!
    4. Family planning. Sex education.
    5. More jobs and good education sa mga universities..

At marami pang iba! Hindi yung i encourage mo pa yung mga teens or girls na hey its okay to get an abortion may mga susuporta sayo. Instead of that why not encourage them to practice safe sex kung hindi tlg madala or abstinence simple as that. Tapos ilang beses mo to gagawin? It will take toll on your body, mind and pati peace of mind mo, on your emotions too. For those na narape or incest dapat mas gumawa sila ng bill regarding this, protect women and child.. Dapat mas pag tuunan ng pansin yung pamilya. Marami pa akong sasabihin dahil this issue is so debatable! Wag niyong ssbhng cells lng ung 6 weeks. Umayos kayo. Mag google. Mag research at mag tanong.
