And, there is nothing wrong about being a painter per se, it’s just that the writer could’ve put some finesse in the caption para naman hindi parang na diminish yung pagiging highly accomplished visual artist ni Paulina. As you know, there are different levels in any field, and highly accomplished people would be slighted if they were described so very plainly like Paulina was in that caption. Also, it’s quite disappointing that a GMA writer would write in such a way. Maybe if said feature was from the other station’s online content, the poor writing would not be much of an issue, but GMA prides itself for being the better source for news even for celebrity-themed news features.

In my own opinion, I think they didn’t reduce anything. They just didn't include what you want them to write. Then again, you should have given them a list of your daughter’s accomplishments in the future.

For those in the know, she is famous. More than Pauline Luna Sotto, na hanggang showbiz lang. Her grandfather is Arturo Luz, a national artist. Established galleries have exhibited her work. Her art is mahal already considering how young she still is.
Her first solo exhibit was sold out she earned a lot as in 7 figures. Even if her parents or Vic isn't well known , for someone so young she has quite a few achievements like being a champion golfer, consistent honor student. In person she is talk and quite a looker imo.

As a writer din by profession, I can see na kulang nga sa description and research. But this is a listicle type na article. Meaning, the body should be short and concise or straight to the point. If she wants her daughter to be featured like that edi pagawan niya ng feature article lol.
Btw, illustrator/artist din ako on the side. Compared to most works i've seen, her abstract art is boring and mediocre at its best.

Kung may mali sa sinulat ng writer doon tayo mag wala, pero wala naman kulang lang. May next time pa naman and sa dami ng magagawa pa na achievements ni Paulina for sure maiinterview sya ulit.

DeleteD naka pag college si Oyo and Danica. Si Danica nag short course ata ng Culinary tapos nag open ng resto. While si Oyo may resto sila and bike shop. Sguro compared kila Paulina and Vico, medyo mas madami nga achievements sila Vico and nag excel sila sa field na gusto nila.

ReplyDeleteAs a writer din by profession, I can see na kulang nga sa description and research. But this is a listicle type na article. Meaning, the body should be short and concise or straight to the point. If she wants her daughter to be featured like that edi pagawan niya ng feature article lol.
