Boring Reactions

The real test of celebrities is the moment when they have to be spontaneous and witty in reality scenes. Without help from scriptwriters and directors, celebrities tapped to do judging duties in front of an audience can be under insurmountable pressure from the program itself and the audience who patronize the show. The comments they say would reflect the amount of IQ and EQ they have in their brains and their hearts. While many celebrities can articulate their thoughts and come out logical and acceptable, others are falling flat and realizing too late that judging is not at all easy.

Sadly, Talented Celebrity (TC) must have realized that sitting in front of performers and giving comments immediately and without any prompter are tough responsibilities. Right after the first episode aired, TC did not receive the expected feedback.

The comments were mostly criticizing the way TC delivered his comments. His words were simple and unsubstantial. Others even pegged him as ‘boring.’ His almost stuttering delivery at times did not escape the viewers. They did not like that TC could hardly say much about a contestant compared to the seasoned panelists.

The production team had to act fast and gave advice to TC to improve his style. He was given the go-signal to exchange banter with the other panelists. After sometime, TC had not improved at all. Worse, he has been allegedly observed to be throwing tantrums. Unknown to the production, TC was affected by the negative comments and thus, became disheartened. Instead of facing his task with enthusiasm, he just went through the motions of sitting in the panel.

Now, with no improvement, rumors have it that changes might happen in the said show if TC decides to backout himself. The production might have to think of a twist to make the logical shift to changing TC to another panelist who can bring more life to the final leg of the show. However, the production cannot initiate any change as it would affect the continuity of the program and they and the followers have to live with the style of TC until the end.
