Doctor here. Allergy po ang urticaria. Pero yes, hereditary ang allergies or atopy. Lumalabas pg may nag trigger. Although hindi considered emergency kung urticaria lang which involves the skin. Kung anaphylactic shock kunsan hindi ka na naka breathe ang dapat ora mismo isugod sa hospital.
Sadly, having allergic reaction to something seems to be hereditary. I've known of siblings having seafood allergies, and their children are also having the same plus more. The kids can not attend parties, can't even eat cake due to allergy of dairy and poultry foods.
Ang hirap ng may allergies andaming bawal :( Sadly hereditary kaya from my parents to us siblings & to my kids. Naranasan ng dad ko ang anaphylactic shock dati due to an allergy to a new medication prescribed to him. Buti na lang my mom drilled in us all that we need to know about our allergies kaya I’m aware of the symptoms & we live just 5 mins.from the hospital kaya nadala agad siya.

ReplyDeleteYes, it is hereditary pero hindi ibig sabihin na lahat ng anak mo magkakaroon. Iyong iba, pamangkin o pinsan ang meron din.
