Tamad ka lang magbasa, 12:14. Alam mo magandang therapy at release yan for her. Traumatic yung nangyari sa kanya. I had a terrible experience with a dog when I was young. I was encouraged to write about it, share the story, talk about it sa school, sa family, sa friends. Anyway, as I grew older I have learned to love dogs.
I don't see anything wrong even with her previous post. She was attacked and injured. She just posted for awareness. Animal lover yan si Antoinette kaya she means well.
1.45 its not the breed actually, i have chow and pitbull. mas malakas ang pitbull. so if the owner was unable to train the dog well.. mgiging pagkain ka tlga nila..
like sa situation ni antoinet, stress ang dog, may history daw sabi nya tapos hndi xa master ng dog, kung totoong animal lover xa at kung may knowledge mn sya sa dogs, pet the dog wil be da last resort dear ... hope u r educated dear
There’s just too much going on with her post aftet ahe explained what happened. Bottom line, the chows owner is responsible for what happened. They knew beforehand that their dog may inflict harm and exposed him in a stressful environment.
Hi 12:37, why would you even think of that? The dog is not attacking anybody on purpose, obviously the dog was tired from the ceremony that day so grumpy na sya and while he was just there trying to relax, someone approached the dog. Just because grumpy sya put down agad? Wag ganon
The owners of that dog that attacked her should be liable and be sanctioned. Will these negligent dog owners expose their violent dog again to future victims?
I don’t follow her on FB so I’m not sure if this is an updated version. Bottom line she previously zeroed in on a particular breed and when accosted, this is her response. So ganito na Lang, May problema ang aso, presumably with the way the dog was handled or raised but our chowchow isn’t what theirs is at all. Wag kasing mag zero in.
Depende talaga sa owner yan... ambull ung samen and they know pano makisama at kelan pwede magbantay ng territory... ung kapitbahay namen na mix breed Ang dog, kasing sama ng ugali ng aso nya yung sya! Hahaha. Super aggressive.
korek ka 149AM remember always classmates #1 rule always talaga ha, ask permission from the owner before petting any dog. always talaga. never assume that any dog knows you except if ikaw owner. always, ask permission. sorry kulit but cannot stress enough. sorry for antonette pero as a dog owner, (1) she should know this paalam before petting; (2) a wedding or any large gathering is stressful for any dog, even if they are gentle at home; so the more we should be careful around them. hope antonette feels better soon.
I've read it all, and the backstory about the chow chow, why Antoinette wasn't hesitant to pet it, and what happened after was well explained. It's much appreciated that she remains understanding. I don't think anyone bitten that much would be so amenable.
Personally, I don't like chow chow as I encountered one which was too aggressive. A fellow tenant from another floor was with her chow chow at the lift. Thankfully it didn't manage to reach me when it lunged, growling, as the lift opened at my floor and I was about to get in. Imagine if it was a baby in stroller, since the it is usually pushed inside first when riding the lift? Or a toddler that goes in first while the parent holds the lift's doors?
Lesson here is that if a pet has history of aggressiveness even with someone they are familiar with, minimize their exposures to what would stress them. Furthermore, muzzle and/or make sure they are well leashed, if it can not be helped that they're exposed to more people. Loving pets doesn't mean they are put above the safety of others. Your pet will be harmed the most when they become aggressive and really injure someone because you, the pet owner, did not take care.
My dog groomer who grooms a minimum of 10 dogs a day told me chowchows are notorious biters. He also has 2 chowchows currently na he adopted kasi d na kaya ng owners alagaan kasi violent. They're really gentle now.
After a woman was attacked on the face, nakakabigla na ine expose pa nila sa ibang tao tong aso na to. This could have been prevented with a muzzle. Get well soon tonette.
I used to have chow-chow and I never had a problem with it kc she's very malambing and playful. Pero dko naexperience un with my dog.

May time ka magcomment pero walang time magbasa.

ReplyDeleteBitter gourd award goes to 12.23am.

@12.35 what an uneducated statement
Delete1.45 its not the breed actually, i have chow and pitbull. mas malakas ang pitbull. so if the owner was unable to train the dog well.. mgiging pagkain ka tlga nila..

Delete- American bully owner
There’s just too much going on with her post aftet ahe explained what happened. Bottom line, the chows owner is responsible for what happened. They knew beforehand that their dog may inflict harm and exposed him in a stressful environment.
ReplyDeleteVery well said and explained. I admire her even more.
DeleteTruth.
DeleteAlso, baka na feel threatened yung dog because nasa public place at daming tao. Stressed siguro kaya naging aggressive.
12.29 ung chow ba mgadjust kung bff nya ung chow? or ang relative? sino ba tlga mgaadjust 😃
DeleteWhy must dogs get the capital punishment for the ignorance of humans?
Importanteng basahin.
ReplyDeleteAntoinette is a smart girl and I admire her love for animals even after this traumatic incident.
ReplyDeletePakahaba ateng! Pa-presscon ka! Charot!
ReplyDeleteTamad ka lang magbasa.
DeleteAy in denial lang 5:33??
DeleteIs it possible for that chowchow to be put down?
ReplyDeleteIt belongs to a relative of antoinette’s i doubt she would demand it be put down as she is a dog lover.
DeleteHi 12:37, why would you even think of that? The dog is not attacking anybody on purpose, obviously the dog was tired from the ceremony that day so grumpy na sya and while he was just there trying to relax, someone approached the dog. Just because grumpy sya put down agad? Wag ganon
Delete10:34, sa US, kapag kinagat ka ng aso at reported sa pulis, ipapapu-put down ng court at ng pulis dahil sa tendency na mangagat uli.
DeleteThe owners of that dog that attacked her should be liable and be sanctioned. Will these negligent dog owners expose their violent dog again to future victims?
ReplyDeleteAng cute ng pitbull nya. Thanks for adopting antoinette. Get well soon.

I know right! My chow chow is the kindest and most sunmissive. Huwag lahatin
DeleteDepende talaga sa owner yan... ambull ung samen and they know pano makisama at kelan pwede magbantay ng territory... ung kapitbahay namen na mix breed Ang dog, kasing sama ng ugali ng aso nya yung sya! Hahaha. Super aggressive.
DeleteYung chowchow din namin kinagat na helper namin like 5 times no joke.
ReplyDeleteyou ask for permission kasi before petting someone’s dog.

Deletesinong may attention span to finish reading all of that?
DeleteDon't read ok and don't bother it is not necessary to react to everything you notice, it defines who you are.besh

ReplyDeleteprobably if this happened in northern America, if there has been several serious human attacks, the dog has to be put down.
DeleteOmg , right breast. Hope she wont get scarred for life
