  1. Karen Davila, we have nothing against the questions. It's the way you asked the questions and your facial expressions that are insulting and demeaning.

    3. The way she asks, parang know it all at sinasabi niya na ako may degree ikaw wala, Yung pinagmumukha niya pa sayo na ganito ka lang.

    6. KAREN DAVILA = CONDESCENDING AND ARROGANT

Even when she was still in GMA 7 ganyan na yan. Bata pa siya noon ha, pero ganyan na ang ugali, she is just worse nowadays that she is considered a “veteran” in media.

Manny is a gracious person, very humble, always. Lalabas at lalabas ang balahurang ugali ni Karen, nobody has to do anything. She can very well manage to expose her poor character for the world to see.

    7. Agree. And good decision na di niya binanggit school kc mababash ang school for accepting him.

  2. Karen, he's just being graceful. You were condescending and quite rude while interviewing him. Can't even call him Senator Manny. It wasn't the first time either that you were trying to one up your guest. Remember Alma Moreno?

I don't know when will you do interviews with tack, respect, and without interrupting guests while they are still talking. I think, you need somebody like Susan Roces again, don't you?

    1. Watching Karen Davila do interviews is like obsessing on hearing the nails being grated on the wall. She doesn't talk sense even on her morning show. She doesn't allow her guests to finish their sentences akin to another K-host rin.

Hope KaF find other hosts that have sense and substance to do their news. I even stop watching TV Patrol because I don't like the female "news reader" that they replace the former anchor there. Bland, boring and why is she even chosen? She's not homegrown.

Maraming issues sa news department nila. Time to grow some balls and make the needed changes na sana.

  3. It’s not what you say , it’s how you say it Ms Karen , dapat pinanood mo kung paano mo tinanong si Sen Manny, you persistently asked the question as if he did not understand what are you asking him , inulit mo na nagaaral ka ? May degree kana ? You are sarcastic

  7. I dont like the fact that MP is a senator, for me he is unqualified in so many ways. But thats only my standard or opinion and it may or may not be right for others. I have always liked Karen, thought of her as a highly intelligent woman. That being said, that interview made me respect Manny more. The point of that question was definitely needed to be addressed, i agree. But she already proved her point the first time he answered, we are not stupid, we know where shes getting at. However, it didnt need to go that far. Truly, you can be educated and act uneducated all at the same time.

Ps. Still not gonna vote for him. But he has my respect.

    1. May nbsa kong blog post about kay manny.

      Delete
    2. 1:15 but STILL not qualified.

    3. @1:49am madami nga qualified Corrupt naman eh..

      Delete
    4. 1:49 By constitution, HE IS QUALIFIED.

      Delete
    5. 1:49, by Ph consti, qualified siya.

      Delete
    6. 1:15 pano sya naging matinong senador eh pnay absent nga dahil kaka boxing niya???

      Delete
    7. 2:16 baba naman ng standards. incompetence is a form of corruption in itself so...

      Delete
    8. Actaully he's qualified, even me and you. Maybe he's not just fit for the position but who are we to question eh Yung mga fit at may title at mataas na pinag Aralan ay mga corrupt din naman.

      Delete
    9. What is your qualification for senator?12:48. Because obviously you have no idea what is the constitutions qualification for the office.

      Delete
    10. What do you mean he is not qualified 1:49AM. what are the qualifications needed ba to run for a senatorial position? can you tell us? if he is not qualified, bakit hindi siya dinisqualify ng COMELEC?

      Delete
    11. 1:15 am, sorry pero 15 laws lang ang napasa nya sa senate and ang baba ng attendance nya and the question he asks during senate sessions still show na hindi sya ok na senator. Yung mga tanong nya parang hindi pinagisipan. And the way he votes on issues very politically-motivated. Its like di sya nagiisip for himself.

He may be a good man, but he's not a good senator.

You can admire him as a person without placing him in an ill-deserved position.

      Delete
    12. @5:09 bkt buwan buwan b ang boxing match nya? Search k muna. Mas mgnda p batas n naipasa nya kesa sa ibang senator n alam mong corrupt

      Delete
    13. 4:28 I disagree. His questions actually makes sense most of the time. Compared to, well, not gonna name them anymore. And I would prefer a senator who is absent over something than somebody present but SLEEPING during sessions.

  8. Something's off with Karen's way of talking. Parang parating galit at makikipagaway. Medyo over na nga nung townhall debate ng senatoriables. She needs to tone down a bit bec she comes across as too pushy, bossy, and rude.

    1. That comes with territory porke sya yun isa sa main news anchors of ABS feeling above everyone else na in short ARROGANT. But girl bago ka mag arrogance e paki check past interviews mo how awkward and how you struggled with highly intelligent and smart guests mo sa Headstart.

    2. Well thats because she thinks shes all that. Kailangan na siya kastiguhin ng management.i dont know whats in this woman pero I never was impressed with her as a media person.

  10. Karen, he's a decent and mannered man, that's why he said he was not offended. Doesn't mean it's true though. You aren't receiving backlashes now the way you conducted your interview if you were professional and weren't using that condescending tone while asking him questions. Come on, I challenge you to watch your own interview with him, and tell us that you were not disrespectful to him.

  11. Kaya pinagpala to ng bongga c Manny kasi matinong tao nman at talagang masipag at pursigido. Sana di na sya tumakbo pa higher than a senator, ok na nman sya sa ngayon as senator.

  13. Karen we understand that it is your job to ask him said questions but if the person declines to answer then show some respect. Masyado kang mayabang, this guy might not be a degree holder but hes a billionaire. Im just happy to see manny still composed and smiling while he was trying to evade the questions. Karen uminom ka ng pinakamatapang na kape before the show para naman magkaroon ka ng konting nerbyios ha.

    ReplyDelete
  14. She was just asking normal questions for any politician. What’s the ek ek?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Meh, get real people. Those questions need to be asked by any good journalist.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don’t find anything offensive in her line of questioning.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  18. Karen, it's not about the questions. It's about how you asked, may diin yung tanung mo kung may college degree ba sya as if hindi nya naiintindihan ung ibig sabihin ng "college degree". At inulit ulit mo pa. Good job to senator manny for being the bigger person.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wushu Karen matagal ka nang rude.

Obvious yung way of asking nya nangmamaliit.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Di ko maintindihan. Karen has this condescending tone to anybody. Nung si Bato nag guest she asked him why change from running the Governor post to Senator with that kind of tone walang nag react. And remember Alma Moreno?
Ps I am not Karen nor a fan. Di ko lang talaga maintindihan

    1. Excuse me, I also watch her in ANC and that condescending tone, she doesn't have that when she likes the interviewees. In short, pag ayaw nya ang ini-interview nya she makes them feel na ayaw nya sila pero pag gusto nya sinong kausap nya she makes a conscious effort to make them feel relaxed.

Di ko din maintindihan why the network is keeping her when its obvious that there are other journalists who can do what she does.

    2. I agree. masyado lang sensitive mga pinoy. I like her way of questioning nga, straightforward at tumbok, walang paliguy ligoy.

      Delete
  21. Karen always speaks as if she is above all others. Is that how a journalist should act? Wonder how she would feel if she were the one being interviewed by her rude self?? But that doesn't mean you have to be insensitive during your interviews. There are ways of getting your point across naman.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Gusto ng mga pinoy, bini-baby. People, lumabas kayo sa lungga nyo. She has to ask those questions. Her line of questioning doesn't even matter. Kung rude sa tingin nyo, wala pa yan sa kalingkingan ng line of questioning sa US. Dude, ask your politicians to step up. In the first place, ang mga pulitiko dapat may pinag aralan. Kung condescending na yan inyo, you have not been asked tough questions in your life.

  23. I'm with Karen. Wala naman masama sa pagtatanong nya. In fact, dapat lang igisa or ilagay sa spotlight ang mga uhaw sa posisyon na mga politiko na to.

  24. It's not the question Karen, It's the manner of questioning. Disappointed with you.
