This show is a franchise of American Idol. Kung ihihilera yung mga judges ng Idol Philippines sa mga nagjudge sa American Idol na mga who's who talaga sa music industry, they pale in comparison except Regine. To give credit to the rest of the judges, yes, may mga nacontribute na sila sa Philippine music industry pero hindi pa sila ka-level ni Regine. Kung ikaw mag-audition, maniniwala ka ba sa sasabihin nila syo pag criniticize yung pagkanta mo? Sana kumuha sila ng mga kilalang music producers parang Randy Jackson or starmaker and producer like Simon Cowell. Or mga music icons na like Ely Buendia. Ang dami daming pwede. Well anyway, I'm sure ABS is happy kasi kahit na maraming comments and reactions sa lineup ng judges they succeeded in one thing - creating buzz for the show. Ngayon pinaguusapan na sila talaga.

I read somewhere that endemol hand-picked the judges. Regine being the most celebrated singer in the country, moira being the most streamed artist in spotify, vice ganda the biggest star of today, and james reid a ceo of his own music label and has a huge following. So i’ts all about a solid fan base. Which all of them have, specially chona dahil may paying fan base si bruha.
This actually makes a bit of sense. Remember na iba ang timpla ng Idol sa The Voice wherein talagang dapat singer ka kasi magmementor ka. Sa Idol, hindi naman. More of nakakakanta ba and may star factor ba. Ganun siguro. Pero even then sa binigay ng reason ng endemol, feeling ko weak credentials pa rin , except kay Regine. Agree ako sa mga nagsabi na, kung ikaw magaling kang singer na naghahanap lang ng break, parang medyo off na ijajudge ang pagkanta mo ng mga nada judging panel na yan. Medyo weird din for me ang mixture nilang 4. Anong dynamic kaya magkakaron yan?
But James is a flop musician despite having his own record label and he’s like 60% auto tuned in his music👀 he must’ve been very cheap to get considering Regine and Vice probably took up half or even more than half the show’s budget.
For sure 12:32 but his music is succesful sa mga millenials and post-millenials so his input and relatability in music will contribute to the show. He produces music too, so he knows a thing or two sa mga contestants na same genre sa kanya at makaktulong un.

It's too soon to judge the show. I know they're after the trend. These personalities are popular in their own style. I have to agree that this is a talent show and the qualification of a judge should be up to par. This may be disappointing for now but who knows this may be a game changer for OPM. Birit songs are so over. Moira and James' style are what millenieals enjoy. X-Factor had brilliant judges but wasn't a massive success. Whoever the judges are, at the end of the show, the voters will still have to decide the winner.
Sana naman hindi puro celebrities. Mga music producer, composer, music teacher, talent scouts should be one of the judges too. Puro celeb at performer kinuha nila.

Moira and James are both young singers and the contestants in Idol Philippines will be too so they need somebody that contestants would be able to relate to. Di naman kelangan porke beterano un na ang ilalagay. A fresh prespective from these young artists will also be helpful to balance it all out. Example na lang natin si Rey Valera sa TNT. Beteranong singer, songwriter, may naitulong ba? wala din naman sa palagay ko. Id rather listen to Karylles comments na constructive and pwede pa maiapply ng mga singers sa TNT to think na d naman bankable singer c Kay to start with. Opinion ko lang naman.

Kung ihihilera yung mga judges ng Idol Philippines sa mga nagjudge sa American Idol na mga who's who talaga sa music industry, they pale in comparison except Regine. To give credit to the rest of the judges, yes, may mga nacontribute na sila sa Philippine music industry pero hindi pa sila ka-level ni Regine. Kung ikaw mag-audition, maniniwala ka ba sa sasabihin nila syo pag criniticize yung pagkanta mo? Sana kumuha sila ng mga kilalang music producers parang Randy Jackson or starmaker and producer like Simon Cowell. Or mga music icons na like Ely Buendia. Ang dami daming pwede. Well anyway, I'm sure ABS is happy kasi kahit na maraming comments and reactions sa lineup ng judges they succeeded in one thing - creating buzz for the show. Ngayon pinaguusapan na sila talaga.

Regine being the most celebrated singer in the country, moira being the most streamed artist in spotify, vice ganda the biggest star of today, and james reid a ceo of his own music label and has a huge following. So i’ts all about a solid fan base. Which all of them have, specially chona dahil may paying fan base si bruha.

DeleteThis actually makes a bit of sense. Remember na iba ang timpla ng Idol sa The Voice wherein talagang dapat singer ka kasi magmementor ka. Sa Idol, hindi naman. More of nakakakanta ba and may star factor ba. Ganun siguro. Pero even then sa binigay ng reason ng endemol, feeling ko weak credentials pa rin , except kay Regine. Agree ako sa mga nagsabi na, kung ikaw magaling kang singer na naghahanap lang ng break, parang medyo off na ijajudge ang pagkanta mo ng mga nada judging panel na yan. Medyo weird din for me ang mixture nilang 4. Anong dynamic kaya magkakaron yan?

ReplyDeleteIt's too soon to judge the show. I know they're after the trend. These personalities are popular in their own style. I have to agree that this is a talent show and the qualification of a judge should be up to par. This may be disappointing for now but who knows this may be a game changer for OPM. Birit songs are so over. Moira and James' style are what millenieals enjoy. X-Factor had brilliant judges but wasn't a massive success. Whoever the judges are, at the end of the show, the voters will still have to decide the winner.

ReplyDeleteMoira and James are both young singers and the contestants in Idol Philippines will be too so they need somebody that contestants would be able to relate to. Di naman kelangan porke beterano un na ang ilalagay. A fresh prespective from these young artists will also be helpful to balance it all out. Example na lang natin si Rey Valera sa TNT. Id rather listen to Karylles comments na constructive and pwede pa maiapply ng mga singers sa TNT to think na d naman bankable singer c Kay to start with. Opinion ko lang naman.
