Excitement is in the air as rumors of a Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards movie are in the works. The pairing combines two major stars of Kapamilya and Kapuso, a combination seemingly impossible years ago, as the two have their respective partners, namely, Daniel Padilla and Maine Mendoza.
In a risky move of separating the two from their partners, the project is expected to create anticipation from fans as well as comments from bashers, who refuse to acknowledge new partnerships for their idols. Such rumor comes at a time when talks about trouble in the KathNiel camp refuse to die down. Similarly, hopes for a real-life relationship between Alden and Maine have been dashed with the closeness of the latter with Kapamilya’s Arjo Atayde.
The rumored project will be under Star Cinema and to be directed by box-office director, Cathy Garcia Molina. Molina has said that she will soon be retiring and has set her last five directorial assignments. If the Kathryn and Alden movie is indeed in the offing, then that would be part of Molina’s last few movies before retirement.

Although I know Alden's true fans will be happy and excited about it as well as Kathryn's but I doubt the die-hard aldubs will take this. ReplyDeleteI’m a KN fan and okay with this. It’s healthy for Kathryn and Daniel to be paired with others. Mukhang solid naman ang Kathniel despite the drama surrounding them. Drama is good for the relationship din naman. Without it you wouldn’t know how to handle life in general. KN just came back from their Amanpulo vacay and everything seem good with them. They’re solid. Bilib din talaga ako how they handle everything but I guess malaki na nga talaga ang growth ng relasyon nila. This is good for the industry and for me, good for Kathryn and Dj. Absence makes the heart grow fonder ika nga. It’s good for their career. Mukhang no harm naman si Alden. Good kid din.

Successful or not, they wouldn't be made into a loveteam because they're from different networks. ReplyDeleteBuwagin na yung mga loveteam, let the artists improve and grow on their own. Pati na rin yung exclusive contracts sa dalawang stasyon. Masyadong kinakahon at nililimit yung mga artista nila kaya pati mga creative team at mga direktor nahihirapan.
