Finally somebody speaks up about this. I've already talked to my kids about this. Having austism or other disabilities should never be an object of ridicule or something to laugh about.
RIDICULE! Basa basa muna bago mag-comment. Budoy did not.ridicule autism, instead they gave light to the condition. Ang problema nila ay niri-ridicule ng boyet challenge ang autism, COMMON SENSE pakigamit...PLEASE! hindi angal agad.

Maganda yung show ni Boyet may aral..minsan talaga tayong mga Pinoy nasosobrahan sa saya at nkakalimutan natin ang totoong feelings ng may mga love ones na may autism or sila mismo kapag gngwang katatwanan sila. Akala natin porke nkakatuwa sila dapat na natin pagtawanan. Di lang talaga natin maitatanggi na may kasiyahang dala ang presensya nila.
Correct 12:44! Yan sana ang maisip ng iba. hindi naman sa pagiging "snowflake" pero merong mga bagay na nakakatuwa, at merong mga bagay na hindi na. Ok yung palabas. pero yung gawing katatawanan nung iba yung actions/behavior nila, hindi.
The people who does it just to make fun or earn likes are insensitive and uneducated as to the daily struggles of people with autism. It would be nice if the show somehow educates viewers how to treat persons with autism better & be more sensitive.
It is really sad when some would need a platform like Boyet challenge to promote a show. Would it seem okay if their premise is to promote awareness of autism? Will this Boyet challenge lead to more ridicule and bullying of those kids with disabilities? Where I live, I see a lot of independent kids with disabilities like autism. They can ride the public transport on their own. They work in supermarkets and other shops. It is so heartwarming to see them being independent and become responsible members of society. Sana may programa ang Pilipinas to train and help autistic persons to become independent. They are one of the most loving people I know. They have a pure heart.
Dapat itigil na ni ken chan ang pagiging boyet kapag wala na sa shooting para hindi na gayahin. Kawawa naman ang may autism. Magiging insecure. Please people be sensitive sa mga taong may kapansanan.
Hindi nakakatuwa o nakakatawa when someone mimics a person with autism o kahit yung may mga speech impediments or disabilities. Yung iba kasi dinadaan sa pa-joke tapos when you call them out on it ikaw pa yung sabihang insensitive.
Finally. Iritang irita ako kapag ginagamit ni Ken Chan yang pagboboyet niya para magviral. Nagkakaroon tuloy ng stigma na gawin joke ang taong may autism. Hayaan niya na sa show niya para pangmulat at hindi gawing joke outside of the show.
My grandson has an auto immune disease that made him stay in the hospital for a month kaya di nya natapos ang pre-school nya, and since the only school that was offering bridging classes to go up to the next level was a SPED school (a private one) kaya dun namin sya inenroll muna before starting sa grade school. It was an eye opener for me, special kids are so loving, very iinocent, walang guile and vindictiveness, when my grandson had special kids sa class nya, he was responsible for looking after them and being their hall monitor and assisted their teachers pag merong nagtatantrums na kids.. In short it was a good learning experience for my grandson because he is more patient with special kids... Now that he is in a regular school, nabibigla sya sa language at ugali nang mga classmate nya, sabi nya madaming bully at nangunguha ng gamit nya, he literally told me gusto na nya bumalik sa dati nyang school bec. For him special kids are kinder and easier to understand and even for me, it's true, even d parents are kinder mad madaling kausap mga walang ere, i could see their dedication sa mga anak nila and that to me is the epitome of love, kaya for me shame on you sa mga taong ginagawang katatawanan ang autism because it is a daily battle for them na makitang kahit na maliit na bagay na nakikita nating nagagawa ng mga normal kids natin, e sa kanila milestone na, they deserve love and understanding, even their parents kaya di dapat gawinh spectacle ang isang may autism!

this is not about the show nor is this about being too sensitive about every persons whims but about people ridiculing and making fun of persons with disabilities. You have no idea how these PWDS try their outmost best everyday just so to fit in the norms of this society. Seriously a little compassion would help greatly.
Lahat naman ng mga teleserye na sumisikat ginagaya ah, mapa kontrabida, o bida...pag may tumatatak ginagaya...nataong may autism lang ang character at sikat pag ginagaya rh binu-bully na? Ganun ba?
Basahin niyo maigi ang statement ng ASP. Ang boyet challenge ang issue.. Ang problema kasi sa mga gumagawa nian, bakit kailagan pa kasi na gayahin ang ganyang klaseng condition para mapansin sila? And sorry to tell it, i doubt kung totoo ang dahilan ng ibang gumagaya na dahil idol nila si ken chan. Kung idol nila bakit ngayon lang sila nag gawa gawa ng challenge na yan. ? So it means yung character na si boyet as portrayed by ken chan ang gusto nila hindi mismo si ken chan..
Mahipan sana ng masamang hangin ang mga bastos na yan..
