Aww, cutie! I won't kiss any part of the face especially lips of a newborn though because they have very sensitive skin and they don't have resistance with some diseases such as cold sores.
Cutie. But please, do not kiss a newborn's face, most especially lips and their hands as well. Their immune system isn't strong and stable enough to resist some illnesses. I know somebody's kid who was kissed and he spent time in NICU fighting for his life due to cold sores (herpes).
