Kapag hindi naman kaya magpa breast feed due to health issues, ok lang naman magformula. The reason why breast feeding is being promoted and Marian was recognized because its a taboo in the PH for moms to breast feed in public. Most pinay moms are embarrassed to feed their kids so they opt for formula milk. Also, some of the first time moms are afraid of breast feeding their child due to the physical changes it might bring. Kaya nga these councils of promoting breast feeding is trying to show mothers that its ok to breast feed your child.
I dont get the logic kasi of people these days that once you promote something they thought you are condemning the other side. Its obvious naman na hindi kinocondemn ang formula feeding sa awareness na ito.
She's not saying she's better. She's saying that it's better for the baby. And siguro naman this message is more for the moms na ayaw magbreastfeed for vanity purposes. Alam naman nya na may mga hirap talaga.
I'm a breastfeeding momma, and a licensed nutritionist. Yes I will agree na doesn't make you any better IF di mo naman inaalagaan ng maayos anak mo kahit magbreastfeed ka. BUT with NO DOUBT, I will say that Breastmilk is the best milk for babies. You can research naman if you want :)

I never breastfed. But it's not my choice. Sana naman wag icondemn ang mga nanay na hindi nakapag pa bf
