  1. I had much better experience with PAL than other local airlines. What in particular area did they failed kaya?

    1. Agree. I like PAL more than Cebu Pacific. World class ang pilots nila kasi laging smooth ang take off and landing. With the FAs naman, medyo off lang na masungit pero la naman ako pake sakanila. Sana lang iimprove pa ung service ng PAL

    5. Customer Service ng FA's indi talaga maganda not all FA's but most of them. Kaya never na akong ngflight sa PAL. Masyado kasing mataas ang tingin nila sa sarili. Sabagay mataas nga naman ang lipad nila :)

    10. basta ako it is very important na seasoned ang pilots ng PAL, also I can cancel my flights and rebook as an option, at bago ang mga eroplano. Sa panahon ngayon mabuti na yung sigurado ka. Kesa alam mo na fly like a person and land like a spirit.

  2. Pansin ko lang pag international yung flights medyo supladita tong mga Pal cabin crews sa kapwa nila pinoy. Nakaka intimidate sila iapproach kasi sa ibang lagi todo smile sila pag dating sa kapwa pinoy naka straight face lang if not nakabusangot na halos di tignan sa mata. Lagi ko na o-observe yan. Unless flying in business class

While yung ibang international airlines na cabin crews nila they even kneel sa floor when talking especially kapag night time at madaming tulog. No wonder hindi manlang umangat sa best airline ang pal, simple courtesy di nila maturo sa employees nila

    6. I've tried several airlines local and international and I agree on this. Middle east crews they're really nice and im surprised to western al cabin crews akala ko sila pa ang mas racist but they are also so nice. And I must say, even though cebupac's technical service aint that reliable very pleasant ang cabin crews nila.

    7. sa experience ko mabait naman sila at magaling mga piloto ha pag PAL na international flights. Para sa akin importante yung maayos ang airplane at magaling ang mga piloto ayaw ko ng mga baguhang piloto dahil hindi tayo sure.

    10. 1:15 yep. Totoo yun and same experience with 12:44. Iba treatment sa economy iba sa business. Di nila alam sa seat sale bazaar ko lang nabili yung business class ko. Hihi! So i wonder kung nalaman nilang slashed ang amount ng ticket ko, idodowngrade kaya nila treatment nila sakin sa economy. Haha!

    11. 1:31 for long haul flights important din na hindi intimidating yung cabin crews. Imagine you have to deal with them for long hours, then pag may kailangan ka maiinis ka lang lagi dahil iniismidan ka everytime tatawagin mo sila

    21. Sa PAL usually sa baggage lang naman ako nagkaproblem nun dahil binabalibag ata dahil me mga nasira na akong luggage And naiwan. Pero sa mga FA lalo na yung magaganda e sarap nilang kausapin at kabiruan. So travel PAL mga luma o dilapidated luggage ang gamitin. Hehehe.

    22. I think ang reason kung bakit mababait ang PAL crew ng domestic flights dahil sila yung mas mga junior. Seniors lang kasi ang may international flights, hence the angas. But still, the airline should take a look into this kung pare-pareho na complaints ng passengers nila.

  5. naku teh kindly elaborate why the service was bad bago gumawa ng paechos. Also kindly stop booking the cheap and discounted flights, book the regular flights so that there are options to change flight schedule , cancel or rebook your flight.There is also baggage allotment for regular priced flights.

  8. I've never flown sa PAL before, laging Korean, Taiwanese, US, etc. airlines before. Bad ba talaga compared sa iba?

    1. for me ok naman yung PAL. Actually I like how the pilots fly the plane. Very smooth walang aberya. Mabait naman mga crew. Maasikaso. I tried other airlines pero hindi kasing asikaso ng mga stewardess sa PAL.

Not really bad, but other airlines have more approachable attendants who seem to anticipate your needs and are alwats smiling vs. PAL where you have to specifically ask and then, as one commenter above said, busangot pa. And yes, different treatment business sa economy class; with the latter, third-world citizen talaga mararamdaman mo (and yes, I can compare since I’ve flown first/biz/economy class across airlines). But, I reserve worst airline(s) for one middle-eastern carrier who has an obvious bias against OFWs and fed us cup noodles for snacks (on a long haul flight, que horror!) and a local carrier na ganun din.

    3. Look, I agree that PAL has points for improvements pero minsan kasi e ang demand ng mga clients or comments e first class levels. I find PAL safe and secure and most importantly, it gets me to my journey safe and sound. the meals are tasty and the staff are courteous despite being on previous flights for hours. May complaint ka pa ba?

      Minsan OA and entitled din ang mga comments ng tao. some people here just name drop of planes that you ride on to prove that you can afford. Way to go on a quality airplane that represents your country.

  10. For international long haul i take cathay, or asiana. for local or short trip ng international like Asia i go for pal kahit marami sila keme keme reklamo ok lang. Kysa mag cebu pac ako.. wala tarmac pag nag japan ka...

  11. I agree with her on this. Last I couldn't claim that I'm an experienced flyer as I've only tried four airlines so far - PAL, CebPac, Ph & My AirAsia & Jetstar. But based on my experience, PAL is the worst. Last September I was so excited to go back to the Philippines for my Mom's birthday, pero nawala excitement ko nung nadelay yung flight ko sa PAL. For me okay lang yung madelay e, pero yung delayed na yung flight tapos walang notice or hindi man lang nirerecognize ng crew yung delay, ayun yung off for me. Plus nung pabalik naman na ako from the Philippines, hindi ko alam kung gabun ba talaga sa PAL, pero gigisingin ka talaga ng crew just for the food? Hindi ba pwedeng lagpasan ka muna, then kapag gising ka na, for sure you will ask for it naman. So far with AirAsia ang best flight ko going to Taipei and KL.

    1. E di sa Air Asia ka. Ang patronizing naman na complaint na gigisingin ka lang just for food? You can politely decline. they are not your servants, di nila maassume na di mo gusto kumain. Sometimes sensitivity on the part of the customer also helps when you want to have a smooth ride.

    3. Some airlines provide stickers for the headrests or eye masks na mag-iindicate na you don't want to be disturbed when you're sleeping when they start serving the food. Di din naman kasi manghuhula ang mga FA para mafigure out ang preferences ng bawat customer, di ba.

  12. Their customer service is selective. I usually fly PAL because of its direct international flight when vacafioning in Manila, i’ve had bad experience before with other low cost carriers in terms of landing and taking off. So, i usually preter to fly PAL. If I had a choice though, i’d never fly PAL again. They’re only friendly and accomodating if you’re from other countries! No, i’m not feeling entitled, i just know that i deserve better because when i go to other countries and flying with other airlines, FAs are more welcoming. With PAL, you need to look rich or look foreign for them to welcome you on board.

Gusto mo galangin ka hindi lang ng mga FA kundi pati na rin ng co-passengers mo? Galangin mo rin sila by making an effort to dress accordingly. Hindi yung parang inutusan ka lang ng nanay mo bumili ng suka sa tindahan kung makaporma ka when you travel. Please lang!

    6. 9:16 maybe because foreigners are generally more polite when asking for something or when trying to express their concern (e.g. when there are delays or other issues) they are usually the more understanding ones. Whereas pinoys in my experience are the ones na nagwawala or impolite and rude.

  17. I like flying PAL from new york, they have the most friendliest and compassionate crew esp when my very ill mother was flown back ro the Philippines. I will fly philippines airlines as long as they have service in any place i go. Mabuhay PAL

  19. I also had the worst experience flying with Philippine Airlines. Their flight attendants are most rude and are trained poorly. I never used my mabuhay miles after that incident and opted for other airlines who can give my money's worth.

  23. If you're going out of the country and you have the money, choose Emirates, Singapore or Cathay Pacific. But if you're just flying for local destinations, then sorry you have limited options.

    1. I recently checked airline options for my trip next year and hindi rin kamurahan and nalalayo ang rate ng PAL to other Int. Airlines. I agree, better fly with other airlines nalang kung poor service naman sila. Ganun din naman ang pricing

    3. Same preference, 2:26. Add ko na din ang Qatar & Qantas, maayos ang experience ko sa kanila. Sa pagiging child-friendly imo nothing beats SQ. Hirap mag biyahe pag may kids esp if long haul flights but they make the experience less stressful.

  25. Its been a long time since I've flown PAL kasi website pa lang palpak na. On the times I've tried to book with them palaging error ang site. Natakot na tuloy ako to trust them with my credit card details.

  28. Ok naman experience namin flying PAL. It was LAX-MNL then MNL-LAX. FAs were very friendly and accommodating. I was hesitant at first, I usually book Eva Air or JAL, but I thought I should try PAL and luckily it was a good decision.

    1. Hindi talaga pang display ang mga FA. They are mainly there to save your asses in case of emergencies. Mga entitled pinoys kasi feeling nabili ang mga FAs kung makademand ng first class treatment!

  36. In my many years of flying, I've learned to accept that these things happen (delays, lost baggage, cancellations, theft, etc) at some point. So I don't bother arguing with airlines anymore. I just make sure that I know my rights as a passenger and get the compensation that I deserve.

  38. Except for alway being late taking off, I prefer flying PAL, domestic and international. I feel safer with a Filipino pilot. The food is better and stewardesses are warmer. North American airlines sometimes use older planes and the stewardesses are older and not as accommodating.

    1. correct,first choice ko pa rin ang PAL when flying internationally. Mabait ang mga tao, maayos piloto at may pagkain na masarap naman.Importante sa akin na walang mga balita na nag crash eroplano. Aanhin ang mga crew kung bulok mga eroplano.

  39. True FA ng pal naka bwiset, ang sarap ipa tulfo, i remember last year byahe namen to NY., mga akala mo kung sino.. nag rate nga ko ng poor sa kanila sa online survey.. nakakadala sumakay..

  40. I don’t care kung suplada/suplado ang mga FA, basta ang mahalaga laging ligtas ang eroplanong sinaksakyan ko. Kaya salamat sa mga Pilot kung maglanding at take-off eh napaka smooth.

  43. And I always choose to fly PAL basta maayos ang timing and hindi hassle ang connection. PAL pilots make me feel comfortable and safe, not to mention their smooth landing ❤

  44. Choose an airline na walang aberya o mga nag crash. Mabuting sigurado tayo mga friends, secondary na lang ang mga stewardess.

  45. Hay naku, PAL is always late. Last time my international flight was delayed 4 hours and they never told us the reason why. The food is not good either.
