They opt to do a simple and destination wedding kesa gumastos sa styling na akala mo mga prinsesa at prinsipe. And i think very limited lang din ang guest cos gusto nila intimate lang.
Ang alam mo kasi yung ma garbo pa bongga parang piyesta, show off wedding. But you can see, nag reflect sa kanila na mas importante ang meaning ng mariage than wedding ceremony.
Some anons here have the wrong notion of what beautiful and meaningful weddings should be. It's not about the circus-like showbiz weddings of the past.
Destination Weddings are preferable because of the location, scenery and experience. Instead of spending (2-digit) millions of pesos on over-the-top (some tacky and tasteless by the way), destination wedding is more desirable.
If you're going to spend much anyway, why not do it abroad. Simple, elegant and significant.
Kung ako din naman ang may pera, i'll go for the best, hindi dahil sa pangalan nila but of course ayoko ng hassle sa wedding ko dahil sa pagiging unprofessional na hindi mo naman sigurado sa "iba"

It was a heartfelt and soulful wedding which is hindi mapapantayan ng kahit gano karaming abubot at designs o mala fairytale na wedding. I can see sa pics nila nung wedding na super enjoy lang ang lahat di katulad nung ma-abubot na parang napaka stiff ng couple and ng mga bisita. Fyi malayo yan sa budget wedding
Yes that's true! Naka attend na ko ng super garbong wedding and laid back wedding both close friends ko and super enjoy yung simple lang and laid back. Or di ko lang talaga trip yung ganon

I loved their vows. I admire that they chose to keep their wedding private and invited only people that really mattered to them. And such an idyllic place.
