I'm glad that she's still singing, still around after all this time. I loved listening to the Ms Saigon soundtrack as a pre-teen, and my kids too now adore her as well. Taking care of her voice, working professionally, plus luck of being there at the right time had given her wonderful projects anyone would be proud of.
She and the first band of Filipinos who went to England truly blazed the trail for so many others that came after them. The international theater industry didn’t think of coming to the Philippines nor hiring Filipinos to star in their stage productions before, but after Lea, the Philippines and its theater artists have become part of recruiting efforts ever since.
If it wasn't for Ms.Lea, the theater wouldn't even know that the Philippines ever existed, now they know that we are a musical race to reckon with, thanks to you Ms.Lea!
