Kaya nga e. There must be someone out there who can help with this. Make something smart and a good representation of the Philippines naman. Make it pro-Filipino. 🤞 ✌️
1:39, *mentality and *shaming. And yeah, the logo is beyond ugly and I blame the president for allowing incompetent people hold important positions in the government.
Yung mapipili may cash prize or whatever.
Pili sila dun ng pinakamaganda, and then yun na. Nakalibre sila ng logo. Magic.
I'm sure para sa karangalan ng bansa marami naman magagaling na artist dyan na willing din na sumali kung may pa contest ba yan or may prestige na makukuha by designing the logo. Wag lang yan nakakahiya.
Milyon ang value ng ganyang artwork. One-of-a kind yan, kumbaga may sarili siyang genre.
Gosh! Napaisip tuloy ako rito... millions ang budget for this tapos ganito ang naproduce na walang quality? Something's fishy... not surprising though.
8:20 Don't you think our athletes deserve better? Diba dapat since international event we do everything at a level we can be proud of, mapa-athletic performance pa yan o logo ng event.
ang baba nang standard mo baks... Filipino can do more than that! Filipinos are known in thw world na napaka creative at hindi papakabog tapos yang ganyang design kuntento kana????
Why does it remind me of a drunk Michelin mascot more than the Philippine archipelago? Bakit overemphasized yung ibang regions? It's the wrong shape for SEAsia naman. Do the number and color of circles mean anything? Prob number of countries but what do the corresponding sizes mean?
The iconic Olympic rings are simple but they convey their symbolism quite clearly. Ito kasi malabo yung mensahe talaga.
I agree, graphic designer here and everything you said are on point. No balance and awkward yung placement ng circles, it's careless and walang depth overall. I guess nagtitipid sila. Hay.
Nagtitipid para mas malaki ang kuha nila. Masakit kasi maraming mga creative n Filipino n kya ijustify at bigyan ng deep meaning ang art nila and also their pride as a Filipino
Sadly, that's a representation of the Filipino people. We lack creativity ba? Still hoping we'll rise above traditions and also not settle for mediocrity ("pwede na yan...") Mga kababayan, let's aim for excellence naman please, we can do better than this :'(
Ang ganda ng Logo last year from Malaysia besh.. Tapos ganda nung explanation about sa design.
I think the problem lies less in the agency/company who made the logo than the committee that approved it. I'm sure they were presented with several options pero yan yung the best for them talaga?
Irreversible na ba to? May better options akong nakikita sa internet but the government has to pay for it, presumably for less dahil nagastusan na nila yung una.
There must be someone out there who can help with this. Make something smart and a good representation of the Philippines naman. Make it pro-Filipino. 🤞 ✌️

ReplyDeleteSagad na ba yan? Yan na ba yun? Magkano nagastos for that?
ReplyDeleteMilyon ang value ng ganyang artwork. One-of-a kind yan, kumbaga may sarili siyang genre.

DeletePuro kayu reklamo, wala nmn kayu naitutulong.
Why does it remind me of a drunk Michelin mascot more than the Philippine archipelago? Bakit overemphasized yung ibang regions?

DeleteUTAK BILOG BILOG ITONG NAG DESIGN NYAN. BUSET!
