Let me see, whose opinion should I give weight to you the or movie critic of Variety? Kahit nga Hollywood stars are thrilled to get positive reviews from their trade papers. Even Hollywood Repoter gives the movie a posiitve review!
@1:01 agree, her last box office hit was in 2012 which is also when she became BOKQ, she’s had other movies since then but they all flopped. It’s only now after Sid and aya became a surprise hit that she’s once again at the top of her game. Buybust may not be a hit at the box office but it’s being critically acclaimed, anne could win acting awards and then she still has her concert even tho it’s not sold out and an MMFF movie. Basically Anne got very lucky this year with QUALITY projects!
AGAIN, No Other Woman ang last film niya sa SC! Mahirap magkaroon ng super blockbuster hit pag hindi SC. Pero kahit ganun, she managed to make films gross over 100m. Labas SC na mga yun. Si Sarah nga yung iba niyang films na hindi SC, hindi naman blockbuster.
Kahit importante ang gross ng movie, parang mas focused ang producer nito na makapagbigay ng maayos na pelikula. Hindi yung kahit basura na lang basta kumita.

Not necessarily. Right now it's a brand new movie. There's only been 5 reviews and the average rating is 6.2 out of 10. Not bad, but not great. Also, there's no critic consensus. It'll change once more ppl watch it and critics do their reviews.

Does Anne know how Rotten Tomatoes work? Scoring 100% doesn't mean anything specially when a lot of critics still have to see it. Imbd is more reliable cuz its directly from the audience. 100% from RT just means how it's being received, but that doesn't mean they're saying if the movie is good or bad. Reddit is also a good site to really find out if ppl like the movie.
This! Di ko rin gets minsan ang reviews ang RT. I Rely more on IMDb reviews dahil sa netizen and nag re relae talaga. But curious ako sa movie na to soo will watch this. :)
Saw it this evening and it was dissapointing. Brandon Vera has no angas factor and the fight scenes towards the end was weak. Still a good story, pero parang i get what they are trying to achieve but it fell short.
Lol, baka nman 1 critic pa lang nagbibigay ng review at nataon na favorable. Wait niyo ibang critics ok?! And some of them can really be unforgiving pag hindi nagustuhan film.

She is a police officer in the film. Natural, nakita ko baduy ang pag hawag nya ng baril. Pati fight scenes sa countless big nasty goons, unrealistic. Tard ka lang

It’s actually really embarrassing that Anne and direk Mattie posted the rotten tomato scoring on their IG when there’s only 5 reviews so far😭😭😭😭😭 they should’ve at least waited till the general audience watched it!

It depends. Noong unang panahon we have Ebert & Roeper weekly show on movies to watch. They were spot on. They will tell you if a movie is crap or worth seeing.
Have seen the movie and it was not as good as Erik Matti's OTJ. Anne is still not believable as an action star pa. Medyo malamya and halatang choreographed pa moves nya.

DeleteRotten Tomatoes is more commendable than IMDB no. Yung tomato meter is yung anticipation ng viewers to see tha film. Wag kang ano dyan.
