Hindi naman sa nagiging mema or nega, pero I understand the point of 4:34. Yung mga Queens natin dito sobrang angat ng level ng training nila, they deserve to represent our country sa best of the best international pageants. I do remember watching an excerpt of Wynwyn’s competition dito sa FP nung na feature siya, and I was so surprised at how it was magulo, parang sa maliit lang na venue, then the other candidates didn’t seem to have the same polish of candidates from other prestigious competitions na sinasalihan natin (MI, MW, MU, etc...) and same rin impression ko na hindi prestigious yung contest. Mas maganda pa production ng Eat Bulaga Super Sireyna. Kaya lutang na lutang si Wynwyn dahil iba ang polish ng mga Queens natin. Oo nga a win is a win, pero mas meaningful ang panalo kung yung nakalaban mo ay kapareho mo ng kalidad diba?
1.57 how did u come up with the conclusion that other candidates were not in polish standards? Do u know the background of each contestants? Or is it just because that since the pageant is disorganize and seems small to u the candidates are not in polish and highest standards? Any international competition big or small in polish condition or not with our candidates that bears ph name and won deserve recognition. Maybe this kind of pageant are just a “training ground” to more prestigious pageants which made our bet “overqualified” — but still its an exposure that one can go for an experience.
Not sure about other countries but in the US, only Miss Universe and Miss USA are considered prestigious.
Para naman sa mga minamaliit ito, very competetive and mga Hispanics sa beauty contest dahil big deal iyan para sa kanila, parang Pilipinas. Kaya kung mag-prepare sila sa pagsali, matindi.
Hindi naman daw kasi lahat gumagawa ng charity work like Miss Universe at Miss World. Baka Meron rin diyan advocacy na sarili niyang ginagawa pero hindi required sa contest na yun.
