In all fairness to Mariel. I never thought na magiging super hands on mom sya because of her maarte image. Kudos to her!
I agree with you 2:24, 2:35. Being a “hands on mom” does not mean you do things yourself, but making sure everything regarding the kids gets executed properly. Dun sya nagiging hands on.
Daming bitter dito. Not doing the little things like laba, handa ng food, etc means mas may time sya sa baby para maprovide ung emotional at pychological growth ng bata.
Ung ibang nag hire ng yaya papaaalagaan 2 anak tapos yaya pa lahat linis laba and all. Mariel is very considerate kaya shifting ang yaya at may division of labor.
she cooks her daughter's food. yung yaya tga prepare or clean up lng. alangan nman walang yaya sa umaga she has work. and me responsibility din xa sa asawa nya.
I mean... if you consider her actions as being hands on... then you are doing a disservice to other moms who are actually really "hands on" moms. Why does she need the title "hands on mom" for? If you're a good mom, you're a good mom... don't need to call yourself a "hands on mom" when you definitely aren't.
We had a nanny too so she can help us with the baby when my hands are full of other stuff. But I can still say that I am hands-on with her. I am the one bathing her, changing the diaper, waking up at night when she cries and wakes up, feed her...the nanny can help me clean the bottles, prepare the milk container for refill, wash the babies clothes, watch the baby when I go the bathroom, when I want to cook fot the family,...ano kailangan ba lahat sa magulang? Oo pede but if you have the means to make things a lighter then do it. Having someone help you does not lessen my being a hands-on parent
Some people may say bash Mariel because of her distinct voice but I honestly find it cute. I think she is really a sweet and nice woman. People in showbiz are saying mabait talaga sya.
It's a breath of fresh air when you see families loving and supporting each other in showbiz. Yung walang halong showbiz, full of sincerity and warmth! Kudos to Mariel for being a source of love and happiness to her family!
Agree with you 2:24, 2:35. Being a hands on mom doesn’t mean she literally does things on her own, by herself. It means she makes sure that stuff regarding the kids she manages and makes sure gets executed properly. Dun siya hands on. If she can do things by herself then kudos to her, but if she chooses to have 5 yayas to make sure that her child gets properly taken care of then that’s her choice. No need to bash her mothering style.
Sweet

ReplyDelete12:17am, she has FIVE YAYAS.
Delete12:40 really ba? So puro pabango lang pala nababasa ko bout her and mga post nya that she's a dakilang may bahay
DeleteYes 12:40 at iba ibang department pa like 1 yaya Laundry department, 1 yaya taga bantay sa umaga, 1 yaya sa gabi, 1 yaya food department etc
Delete12:40 & 1:07. Just because she has 5 yayas doesn’t mean she’s not a hands on mom. Kung ako man afford ko ng 5 yayas why not.
DeleteBeing a hands on mom dont always mean washing the laundry, prepping food for the children. It's more than that.
DeleteBeing hands on, is simply means to spend quality time with your kids. Therefore, a hands on mom is a mom that spends quality times with her kids.
