i dont understand the hate and acknowledgment against ninoy (and even cory to some extent). dont people realize that the philippines was a dictatorship? di ba nakalimutan ang mga crimes and theft committed by the marcoses? remember the protests, storming of malacanang, the discovery of all the shoes, the tapes of the marcoses living it up as the country got poorer and poorer, the marcoses running away in shame and exile to hawaii? tapos ngayon parang ok lahat. imee is governor, imelda was/is in congress, bong wants to be vice president and the whole clan is on the rise. i pray for the philippines.

I like that term Facebook University. In this modern age of advance technology, history is re-written for the benefit of the next generation of corrupt officials and future leaders of our country. Fake news is rampant and lies are spread like wildfire.
Sorry but "very cute" falls miserably short to describe Ninoy Aquino's "ultimate sacrifice" of going back home after 3 years in exile in the U.S., knowing what could befall him if he did..."heroic, bold,champion, courageous, daring, epic, fearless, brave" would be more like it.
For those who have not undergone curtailing of basic freedoms (speech, peaceful assembly, press, petition the govt for redress of grievances, etc) under the Marcos regime, it would be hard for these people to empathize with the level of suffering the climate of fear the repression entailed. Experience is the best teacher. Never again.

Just the thought na she grew up without a father... She was robbed of her childhood. Tingnan mo yung ngiti nila dyan, that's borrowed time. Grabe, sumasakit yung puso ko just looking at the picture.
Grabe ka naman. Just because she didnt grew up without a father, robbed na kaagad ang childhood niya. She was surrounded by the love of her family, her siblings and especially her mom, kahit pa ilang heartaches rin ang binigay ni Tetay sa mom niya before.
