Whenever an actor and an actress are doing a project, the publicity would be that the two are already falling for each other and even to the point of having a relationship. Such gimmick gets the attention of the audience and is made as a point of interest for more viewers to watch. After some time, fans are organized for solid support. Often, these fans can be rabid towards comments that seem to be unfavorable for the reel pair.

The drawback of such strategy is that the reel couple are expected to stick together and individually lose their identity. Fans would express anger when the loveteam is broken apart of if new partners are introduced. Thus, the reel couple are stuck to roles that their partnership allows and that is basically just about love and relationships. A high percentage goes to the lack of opportunities to test the depth of the acting range because fans will not buy anything but a feel good lovestory. Consequently, if one reel partner decides to move away, expect fans to go ballistic and harass that personality.

Thus, when a network seems to be pushing the loveteam between Talented Celebrity (TC) and Pretty Lady (PL), not everyone seems to be happy. Although TC and PL have a well-received project, the camp of TC is concerned over the limitations once the TC-PL love angle is pushed by the network. Although TC has shown signs that he can make it on his own, PL was needed to spice up both of their careers.

When An Associate (AA) of TC had to give an interview, AA was shocked that the fans did not at all fully respect her and her attention was called because she allegedly did not express gratitude for PL’s presence in the project with TC. Well, PL has yet to earn the trust and confidence of AA, which would ensure that she gets recognition. By contrast, AA had an opposite reaction when word got out that TC was going to be paired with a Network Talent (NT). NT has done several projects with many actors in the industry and has received recognition for her craft. Naturally, AA reacted positively, as she considers NT an acting match for TC.
