It's a sign of a classy and educated woman with breeding and a bigger understanding of issues at hand - Wynn respects the person (transgenders), but it doesn't necessarily mean that she has to side and agree with everything the LGBT community wants.

Totally agree with Wyn. Perhaps the Ms. U organization should also create a separate competition for trans to settle the issue and name it Ms. Trans Universe with the same prestige as that of the original Ms. Universe.
I'm happy that transgenders are now welcome in major pageants. Being around them almost all my life and I know that deep in their hearts they are supposed to be a man or a woman. Now these "natural born women" just need to step up their game.

My friends in the US joined a badminton tournament. At sa ladies doubles category nilagay ang mag-partner na transwomen. To make the story short, talo ang mga natural born women sa category nila kasi yung mga trans still has the strength and agility of a man. So saan na lulugar ang mga tunay na babae kung pati itong mga ganitong tournaments ipipilit nilang sa ladies category sila?

Mas malapit ang Mrs sa Miss (compared to natural male sa natural female, Mr sa Ms). People could always say it's for equality. So why discriminate against married women? Women with children? Also, pwede rin isali those beyond 30 years old, even seniors. For equality.

DeleteMy friends in the US joined a badminton tournament. At sa ladies doubles category nilagay ang mag-partner na transwomen. To make the story short, talo ang mga natural born women sa category nila kasi yung mga trans still has the strength and agility of a man. So saan na lulugar ang mga tunay na babae kung pati itong mga ganitong tournaments ipipilit nilang sa ladies category sila?

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Wyn. Miss U is a pageant for real, natural born women. Yung mga trans, they can just make their own pageant. Sila sila mag-compete. Kung may sasali ba na tunay na babae sa Super Sireyna wala aangal?
