If you’re going to call out someone who you felt degraded your job/profession/means of living, make sure you’re not doing it to other people as well. If you’re a graphic designer, you have the option to do your job either for free or with pay. Musicians don’t have that option. Exaggerated kasi yang mga nagreact na kala mo nilapastangan na sila. I think that was his point. I personally think lang naman.
Oo nga naman. Not in da Pilipins! Just recently read that one of the Village People singers who composed YMCA song is receiving millions of dollars every year for royalties.
Ganyan din sa Pilipinas... kaya lang kasi maliit lang ang nakukuha nila kasi sa Philippines lang sakop nila hindi gaya sa ibang bansa na World Wide or malaki ang market venue. Ngayon sikat na ang KPOP kaya malaki narin nakukuha ng mga Kpop idols. So maliit na nga nakukuha satin tapos nababawasan pa dahil sa illegal downloading. Nag-eenjoy mga tao makinig ng kanta nila for free kaya wala silang nakukuhang kahit anong royalty doon.
So ang point ni Rico is about piracy na halos lahat na ay gumagawa.
