Repost: List of Winners of Eddy 2018, 'Respeto' is Big Winner

"Respeto," the acclaimed independent film about Pinoy underground hip-hop starring rap artist Abra, continued its winning streak Monday as it clinched top awards at the 2nd Eddys, or Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards.

The Treb Monteros II-directed film took home six trophies, including Best Film, Best Supporting Actress (Chai Fonacier, tied with Angeli Bayani and Therese Malvar), and Best Supporting Actor (Dido dela Paz).

"Birdshot," a coming-of-age thriller by Mikhail Red, similarly won top prizes, including Best Director, Best Actres (Mary Joy Apostol), and Best Cinematography (Mycko David).

  10. Birdshot is good but the actress there shouldn't have won. She's nowhere near everyone else that was nominated for Best Actress. Anong cooking show na naman ito?
