No More Ruse

People deserve a second chance, but while circumstances seem to be widening their gap, loyal fans will not stop to make sure Appealing Performer (AP) and Versatile Talent (VT) are back in each other’s arms. However, they will have to wait longer.

Reality says that the novelty of AP and VT is waning off and this effect is affecting the show of VT. Compared to a few months ago, endorsements are fewer. Before, VT’s show would even turn down product placements, but now things have slowed down and the ratings have dipped as well. To generate interest, the production people convinced VT to give AP another chance. After all, the show needs the boost. The production tried to tell VT that whatever she and AP started cannot just be allowed to go down the drain. After much talk, VT agreed even if she was hesitant.

As the production was preparing for a special day, they needed AP to be present as well. When the invitation was sent, AP’s camp had to turn it down and said that AP had other commitments and a very tight schedule. Even if VT’s camp bargained for AP to be available for only a couple of hours, the request was turned down. According to sources, AP actually had the time. However, Powerful Executive (PE) gave instructions to not allow AP to join the event. Subsequently, PE allegedly advanced the schedule for a shooting to make sure AP would not really be around for the event.

Although AP and VT had a very successful partnership when they were starting out, their partnership limited their versatility. Fans would often go ballistic in social media and come up with long discourses just to bash the network, managers, VT, or AP whenever AP and VT have separate projects. The network also wants to develop its own female stars and obviously, AP is being groomed to be paired off with others. Allowing AP to attend the event with VT might affect the forthcoming projects of AP, as fans will once again scream for the exclusivity of the two who only have a professional relationship between them. Besides, AP’s camp is wary of VT because of the high fee demanded by her camp.

Only time could tell if AP and VT would get another chance to appear as a solid loveteam. For now, such idea would have to wait. Hopefully, fans would still support AP and VT even if they are moving in different directions.
