If you read all the comments from ESPN. Aside dun sa lahat inaaway yung isang tao lang, that selfie made them more mad. How can Pinas recover from this. Idk.
He had humility enough to acknowledge his mistake. It does no one any good to continue dragging them like this esp yung mga nag-sorry na nang maayos (hindi lahat nag-sorry nang ganyan, at least hindi siya "wala kong pake sa inyo").
12:39 People who don't accept other people's apologies esp when it's done with humility, you're worse.
12:39 so ano bang gusto mong gawin ni mark? Just hope that in your life NEVER kang magkamali.
nag apology nga nagpalusot.com naman. the selfie was not done just for selfie...it was intended to inform the world na mga basagulero silat lalaban. his apology is wreck with so much palusot d ba pwedeng magsorry na lang and be sincere wag ng magpalusot na as if hindi naman talaga intended to disrespect but the truth is he was disrespectful. yon na yon.
For me this is how an apology should be, unlike yung iba na nag apologize just so "all this fuss would stop". While questionable if it was really him who wrote it, I felt the sincerity. I appreciate your humility, Marc
Nagyabang sya with his caption na "di nyo kami kaya boy" and lalaban tayo tapos ngayon sa apology nya parang pinalalabas nya na its nothing more than a harmless selfie during the break.
Good that he apologized because not a lot of ppl specially outside Pinas believed in his reasoning of just "trying to ease tension" after the fight. He contradicted himself with that lame excuse and the caption he used for that pic.
Too little too late. Yabang sa una biglang kabig sa huli. It still doesnt change the fact that nakakahiya pa din ang pagka basagulero ng gilas. College graduate nga pero mukhang walang pinag aralan. Good luck with your future
Writing this for Gilas... PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD need to hear this. Filipinos need to be UNIFIED in our stand. We are like this because we are not nationalistic. Those who are bashing Gilas need to know— physically hurting another person is never right, but please also know the real reason why things happened, then you would understand. Australians know in their hearts what they did to the Philippines. They removed the sponsor stickers from the floor of the basketball court prior to starting the actual game. That is a sign of DISRESPECT. Would they have done that to another country like Japan? Or the US? Let’s see what they would have done to Australia if they did that.
They called the Filipinos monkeys before and during the game. That is equivalent to racism. Would they have done that to black people? That is an unacceptable behaviour. They are playing victims. But people AROUND THE WORLD need to know the real reason WHY things happened. Not because their country is more progressive than ours, that gives them the license to treat other people/race like this. They are trying to GET THE SYMPATHY OF THE WORLD by playing victims but they are actually the ONES who were bullies. I hope another country does not experience the things they did to us. They are taking advantage of us not being nationalistic and being ashamed of being Filipinos. In the first place, it’s evident that we do not take pride in our own country (unlike Japan who’s very nationalistic and other countries). I am writing this so that we can have a voice and let the world KNOW the TRUTH. This will impact Filipinos around the world, EVEN IN THE WORKPLACE OR WHEN WE TRAVEL. So we need to have a voice and let other people know the TRUTH. That’s the least we can do FOR OUR FUTURE.
