Akala ko nga now that ok na sila ni Jackie ipupush through pa rin nya ang great American dream nya baka pwedeng sa mother side naman nya ang mag-sponsor
Ugh! Missed opportunity, he should have stuck it out here. Just getting a scholarship from an American university is a big deal. He should have stayed just for that.
It's not about grades.
If you really follow UAAP men's basketball, you'd know that Paras is already eligible to play this season along with Desiderio, Gomez de Liano brothers, and an import. Di pa ba malakas yun? Huwag mangmang.
Let's give him a break. He was on his own without his family in the U.S. He probably did not get the guidance he needed. Ibang sistema... sana may mentor who could have guided him. Nagkulang din for sure ang school counselors. They should have given him more attention since he came from a different country. At least he tried. It is good he made up with his mom. I wish him the best.
Nasa UP sya at iskolar. Matutuloy nya pag aaral nya.
U dont really know what he mean by his post.
2:52, you’re trolling this page, answering all comments that are different from yours. Ano ba? You’ve made your point, you’re a fanatic. Fine. Good bye.
nope, he must graduate in college first and play at least 7 games in PBA D-League for him to be eligible. im not sure about the "one year term" you are saying but you maybe misunderstood it with "one year residency" which means he needs to stay in UP for a year before he become eligible in the UAAP.
Kaya pala nagreconcile, back to Pinas siya. He will be bashed forever ng mga fans dito. Hopefully yong di nila pagkasundo ng brother niya has nothing to do with Kobes motive. Sana true not because he’s playing locally. Sa US nga naman walang pakiaalam ang fans but saten nega vibes siya. Nawala bigla ang NBA dream niya, ang taas kasi nong una ayaw bumaba lol!
Madami talaga magagaling sa america. Hindi pa pang america ang style of playing nya. And true din ung nabasa ko sa comment dito, kahit poor ang grades nya if he's an excellent player, isasalba sya. But glad he is back to the philippines! And why not to his own country?
Ang daming hanash ng mga tao dito. Be happy nalang po. Obviously he wants to be here or he would have stuck it out there talaga. Why not. So many ways to do that pero he chose to come home.
Aside from endorsements na makukuha nya pa. And also, Kobe has the looks & may dugong showbiz.
Rockstar life nga daw siya diba? Bawasan niya yabang niya at wag umasta na ala African American off and on the court.
Curious ako. Kailangan ba nag-aaral ka sa UP para makapaglaro sa UP Maroons? How? Pumasa siya sa UPCAT? Or pinick-up siya ng team para maglaro? Mga baks, sincere yung tanong ko ha? Huwag nyo akong ma-bash, hehe!
UPCAT is for admission from high school. If you attended college in another school, you can transfer into UP if grades are sufficient for the program.
If he is not in good terms with his dad, it's surprising that Kobe chose to attend his dad's alma mater. The last time UP won the championship was when Paras and Magsanoc played for the university team - alumna
May Varsity Athletic Admission System (VAAS) for exceptional athletes. If they pass the stringent qualifying process, no need for UPCAT na. I believe most, if not all universities have the same varsity program for athletes. Kaya din sa palarong pambansa pa lang, universities are already scouting for the best high school atletes na they can recruit under the varsity program. That's not to say though na these student athletes have it easier. In UP, you still need to maintain a certain GWA every sem. You can be removed from the VAAS program if nagsusuffer yung acads mo. Some professors do not actually care if varsity athlete ka so they treat you the same way they treat the other students, no special favors. Kaya mahirap din buhay ng mga student athletes sa UP kasi they have to balance acads and training.
11:56, whether he is in good terms with his dad or not, it is very silly and illogical to think that it was a consideration whether to play for UP or not.
As if they gain something kapag hindi nagtatagumpay ung kapwa nila kaya tuwang tuwa sila.
Kobe may not have made it in the US but at least he tried!! He won’t have regrets now. Anyways he has a bigger chance at making it big in the PBA. He can be famous and make a lot of money. His good looks add to his appeal.
Kobe is an amazing player! Maraming opportunities sya sa Pinas. Plus the good looks factor ay naku, yayaman sya! Buti na yung nag try and lost kesa hindi nag try at all!
Andre with the Maroons didn't work out, it's Kobe's turn. Benjie's dreams coming true :-) @nowheretogobutUP Just hoping that Kobe will maintain his grades so that he can stay with the Maroons for good.
Parang may tampuhan si Kobe and Benjie. Matagal nang walang post about sa dad nya. Dati madalas and very proud sya don. Ngayon wala at all kahit mention kay benjie
Good luck sa kanya. He doesn’t need to choose sides but he did. Now he chooses to disrespect the father hindi rin maganda yun. Pero bahala siya sa buhay niya.
I love their mother and son ralationship. Sooo sweeet 😍

Ganern?

ReplyDeletehe is still young. there’s plenty of time. how’s your life, btw?

ReplyDeleteat least he tried.
ReplyDeleteHe looks sad
ReplyDeleteI heard one year term siya sa UP Maroons. Ano yun, pwede na ba siyang maglaro sa PBA after the term???

Delayed lang naman, gagraduate din (hopefully) :)
