    1. True. May records at concert pa ang walang talent, sintunado pa.....too funny talaga. It’s like a big joke.

  9. Why explain, Ely? Just do your thing. If it doesn’t sell, you should still be fine with it, right?
So, then, just put your music out and stop admonishing the “fans” that you’re not doing it for them.

As for the demos you receive, you must understand that those come from people who aspire to be something someday. You know about that dream as you were once in that position, yes? Aspiring artists always reference their inspiration, and if the young blood that come to you and your team mentions “the E word,” why is that so bad? They look up to you and your former mates, no need to knock them for it. Couldn’t you just look past that and listen; and then judge from the quality of the material? I can’t imagine young start ups coming to your team to have the same bravado and/or the sophistication you have now, so give them a break, or else just cut out the BS that you care to discover new blood. Perhaps, it would help your ego if you weren’t too accessible to everyone, just do the leg work yourself, and find the talent you want. It is after all, “all about what you want,” from start to finish...we get it. You’re “the One and the Only.” #ElyBuenDiva

    1. Totally agree.

      Delete
    2. @206, more like, “yung superiority complex ni Ely.” Yeah, I agree with both 116 & 206.

    3. No, Hindi pwede na puro copya lang.

    5. Agree. I used to be the biggest Eraserheads’ fan. I still am. But I think Ely needs to slap his pretentious self to wake up.

      Delete
    9. Exactly my thoughts. Thanks for putting it to words. 👍

  10. May tama naman si Ely. Just observe the music industry. Hope I didn't offend anyone with my comment.

    2. Yes OPM is still alive. It’s the mainstream media that’s trying to kill it.

  13. Hahahaha....it’s like that in pinas. Everything is a copy. Music, movies, tv shows......all copied from somewhere or someone. No originality and no quality at all.

  16. There are exceptions. At maraming magagaling sa bagong breed. Pero banda? Group? Waley. TNT boys I hope soon they will sing their own songs and wow the world more.

    1. Not even wowed by those boys. They are being 'molded' into a novelty act instead of true music artists. Mabenta sa Pinoy eh.

  17. trying to be original and yet you're looking and sounding more and more like an british rock band, with the coat and tie attire pa. im ok with experimenting, pero it's not just your music that's changed, pati get up, pati attitude.

    1. True! Paul McCartney is that you na? Kalurkey tong si Ely. Si Paul nga di ganyan magsalita. O e di sige Ely, ikaw na haligi ng OPM.

  19. dapat nga grateful siya na people are still looking up to him and Eheads. eh mas dun nakakarelate most of the fans eh kaysa dun sa isa niya band.
