  1. Kultura nila yan beks. You can't just come in and impose your beliefs sa mga taong may ibang gawi ng pamumuhay.

    1. Doesn't make it right. 2018 na, itigil na itong mga ganitong tradition. Wala naman silang ma-a-achieve sa buhay. Manalasin lang sila.

    4. Just because it's their tradition means it's correct. Some bad old traditions need to be changed. You can't also just be cruel to animals with the excuse of it being a barbaric tradition.

    5. The world is changing. Humans should become more civilized. These people should be educated to let go of their barbaric traditions.

And we all know how Chinese are when it comes to traditions.

  7. of all the petitions going around this is the only one i gladly signed up with and will do it a thousand more if need to. they have no right, no right at all to kill those poor doggies. tradition be damned!

  8. That's part of their culture. Nothing she can do about it. Choose your battles dear.

    1. Naging tama ba dahil part of their culture?

    2. Bes what do you mean choose her battle?? Eto na yun! This is her battle and i salute her courage to go against what you call tradition! We need to evolve as human beings! I am not a dog owner or even lover pero affected ako, why? Because I am a human being

    3. Ibang countries nga ok sa culture nila ang child labor..just because its ok doesnt make it right.

    4. She made the right choice then.

  9. Just because it’s considered a tradition doesn’t mean it should be accepted. This is a clear case of animal abuse and it sickens me to the core. Animal advocates have been lobbying the abolition of this practice for years and yet the horrific festival is still being celebrated annually. :(

  10. Please sign the petition 😭 I already did 🐕🐈

  11. The petition has been going on around the world. Sadly it's hard for this to be abolish due to the fact that they refer to this as part of thier culture and not tradition, and Chinese poeple took great pride on thier culture whether it be acceptable to the world or not. Sabi nila banned na to pero hindi kasi they threatened the authorities na mag riot raw sila if that ever happens. Aside from it being part of their culture this is also a big source of income to them kasi this part ng China is considered one of the poorest provinces and so far wala silang mahanap na alternative way of earning money.

  15. Every year pag nababalitaan ko ito naiiyak ako. Naaawa ako sa mga inosenteng aso. Im a dog lover and it breaks my heart na may ganitong festival. Huhuhu

    ReplyDelete
Let's move forward for the betterment of our fellow human.

  17. There are activists na naghaharang ng mga dogs and cats for slaughter. Every little bit helps. I salute Carla for her passion against animal abuse.
