Agree ako. Yun top part parang shirt lang na semi off shoulder. Parang maluwang ata yun top Kung fit yun siguro mas maganda. But overall class na class. Less is more talaga.
Dislike. Square shaped ang body niya with chicken legs and punchy hands. Straight lang tignan ang gown sa kanya. Hair and make-up didn't do justice either. Parang hindi wedding. She literally looked like she just woke up from late-night partying na look.
I liked it. Simple , classic and elegant. Loved the Queen Mary tiara , something borrowed from Queen Elizabeth( tiara belonged to her paternal grandmother).
12:03 that's how you look at it but majority thinks..she looks radiant in her wedding day..her beauty and goodness shines thru! One of the beautiful weddings i've ever watched! Don't look at it w/ an evil eye.
Deadma, the important thing is she got married to the man she loves and love her back. I can imagine the opposition to him marrying her. Love does prevail!!! I wish them luck .
I loved it! So effortless, classic, timeless and sophisticated. I love the 3/4 sleeve and boat neck neckline. The tiara was perfect and matched the whole look. The veil was bongga and love the symbolism of the embroidered flowers on the veil. Everything was exquisite!
Agree! When ppl look back at timeless gowns by royals, this will be one of them. It'll never be outdated. Ppl who keep comparing her and Kate have to remember that Kate was younger when she got married and she opted for something more young looking. Meg's dress was age appropriate and will never go out of style. She looked very regal and what u would expect or hope a royal to look like. It wasn't ill fitting cuz any tighter and she wouldn't be able to breathe or move her arms.

I love how she went for a minimal and classic look. I have a feeling that she will wear a more bedazzled dress for the evening reception. I'm not a fan of lace so I'm glad that her gown didn't have that at all. I'm also glad that she didn't opt for a poofy ballgown or that typical sleeveless gown that you see too much of nowadays.

I read the the veil alone took many hours to embroider with the staff having to wash their hands every 30 hrs. Yung embroidered florals represented the 53 commomwealth countries as suggested by Meghan herself. Such a thoughtful insight. And its a Givenchy.

I can tell the fabric is very luxurious . Ilamg thread kaya ito at makapal din pero mukhang malambot at masarap sa balat. Kahit makapal ang fabric maganda pa pa rin ang structure at bagsak. Ginamitan ata ito ng computer at hightech na paraan.

I actually liked how in a way her hair looked effortless. She's a Cali girl and they don't like fussy and stuffy updos. The style was organic and if a part of her long bangs came undone, it was actually a cute moment.

6:45 Kate and Megan’s age are almost the same and to think Kate just gave birth last month is already a mom of 3.yet she still looks freash and not just that but the dress she wore during the cereomy has been worn twice.
The Duchess looks very sleek and neat, and she was glowing. I love wedding dresses that complement the beauty of the bride. This gown is very classy, doesn't show much skin, and made the bride more stunning.
Yup! No need to be flashy and I have a feeling that she will wear something flashier for the evening reception which is more appropriate specially she's a royal now. She picked something timeless and something she won't regret later on. She has plenty of events later on that she can wear fancier and riskier dresses.
She can't have it any tighter on the arms cuz she won't be able to lift her arms. Have u ever worn a bateau dress in that fabric? I had. U gotta leave some space in the arms or u won't be able to lift it.
Anyone who commented about the dress being ill-fitting, please refer to Givenchy's older gowns specially the ones worn by Audrey Hepburn that are bateau necklined. That type of cut and fabric is not meant to be too tight fitting. There's a reason for that. The fabric is not meant to be stretchy, but more structured. That's why Meghan's gown is not tight fitting. It's not supposed to. The designer would've altered it if it was ill-fitting. My gosh mga beshies, learn something about fashion first before commenting. Common sense din. If the chest area and arms are too tight, u think you'll be able to breathe or lift ur arms??

Happy for her. This means that even just slightly above average looking girl could fulfill her dream of marrying a prince. Meghan is not a goddess face-wise but sort of just above average.
At first I was disappointed but the dress is growing on me. After the second and third look it is really elegant and suits the occasion. Sorry nalang din sa mga mapapait dyan, Harry married her deal with it. To those saying she’s a user, she has her own money, she worked hard for what she has compared to Harry who was born with it! She established herself credibly! Second she is not that good of an actress, to say she’s fooling Harry day in and day out? DeleteAt first I was disappointed but the dress is growing on me. After the second and third look it is really elegant and suits the occasion. Sorry nalang din sa mga mapapait dyan, Harry married her deal with it. To those saying she’s a user, she has her own money, she worked hard for what she has compared to Harry who was born with it! She established herself credibly! Second she is not that good of an actress, to say she’s fooling Harry day in and day out? For sure his whole life Harry has had his fair share of posers and users, he knows how to spot one!
