Two sets of twins pala si Chiz kung nagkataon. Did she have to undergo surgery para matanggal or kusang lumabas? Anong nangyayari pag ganyang case? Praying for her safe pregnancy.
Vanishing twin syndrome tawag jan. Inexplicable kung bakit biglng nawawala yung isa during the early stage ng pregnancy. May mga cases din na later on parang nagmmerge yung 2 embryo kaya minsan may mga tao na 2-toned ang balat or magkaiba ang eye color, etc kasi parang twins sila na biglang nagsama. Sa case ni heart, kakatake nya palang ng pregnancy test tapos ang ganyang ultrasound looks like 4-6 weeks gestation plang meaning 4-6weeks since the first day of her last period kasi hindi pa kita mismo yung baby and yolk sac. Gestational sac plang na 2 different sizes. Very early pregnancy pa. Some doctors dont even see their patients before 8weeks kasi marami p pwede mangyari pero marami din nman kasing super excited and nervous na baka ectopic pregnancy kaya nagppa-ultrasound ng maaga. Mga after a few more weeks magiging visible na si baby.
Vanishing twin syndrome. If I remember it correctly, kung nasa early pregnancy pa lang--first trimester, the twin is completely or partially absorbed by the other twin. Pag ganun kasi nag-aagawan sila sa space, nutrition yung kambal. Kaya minsan may isa na mas malaki, yung isa maliit. Swerte na lang if both of the twin survives at hindi mawala. Kung later stages na, need operation to remove the "vanished" twin.
Nice 9:50. Magpa 5 y.o. na this july
I assume she was still in her first trim when the other “embryo” didn’t develop and survive. At this stage, it would be still very tiny that either the body will just absorb it, or will be naturally expelled by the body. I’m not a doctor pero that’s how my Ob explained to me before.
9:09 It's called the Vanishing Twin Syndrome or Co-Twin demise. The fetal tissue is absorbed by either the placenta, the surviving embryo, or by the mother's system. Walang surgery required and hindi siya nilalabas like what happens sa ibang miscarriages.
This happened to me and kahit hindi totally nagdeveloped si Twin B sakin sobrang sakit na nawala sya. You just go thru life with it and makes you look forward that someday mayayakap mo rin yung anak na nawala sa sinapupunan mo. :'( Pero mabaet pa rin si Lord. Tinira Niya sakin si Twin A ♡
Though it's sad when vanishing twin syndrome happens, I would see it as nature's means to help the other baby live and be of better health. It spares the parents the agony in case the smaller baby got more problems should it make it to full term.
