Good that he's pointing out what the real Manila looks like. It's not just the fancy side. Most in Manila still live in shacks or places that are so unsanitary. It's not always more fun in the Philippines when u see ppl basically begging, dirty water and not to mention the tons of garbage that's stacked and lined up on the side of the messed up streets. U can show a foreigner all the beautiful places in Pinas, but u can't hide the sad either. Now this is a real art photo.

ReplyDeleteGood that he's pointing out what the real Manila looks like. It's not just the fancy side. Most in Manila still live in shacks or places that are so unsanitary. It's not always more fun in the Philippines when u see ppl basically begging, dirty water and not to mention the tons of garbage that's stacked and lined up on the side of the messed up streets. U can show a foreigner all the beautiful places in Pinas, but u can't hide the sad either. Now this is a real art photo.

Even in places like India there are tons of slums and its not just about the Taj Mahal, but ppl still go and travel there cuz it adds to the mystique of a place. Same with Pinas. It's not just about the high rise and glam or the nice beaches. That's your country and should be proud of the good and bad.
