Ever heard of abstract and art appreciation? Artists have different styles and approaches. To say that paintings like the ones you are describing are trying hard shows how ignorant and disrespectful you are to their passion.

Broaden your mind when it comes to art because it all depends on the artist. Iba nga diyan sobrang minimal pero gets ng iba and mahalin pa ang price. Ako nga love ko work ng artist like Matisse pero hinde ko like Picasso. Both geniuses in the art world. So depends on your taste yan. Does a painting have to have a meaning behind it? Just go with the flow and appreciate.
Nakaka hurt ng slight yung comment mo. Pero that’s ypur opinion and in arts, you cannot please all the people. They hate you or love you no, in between. Siguro let’s just be appreciative of different kind of arts.
And please wag maliitin yung mga abstract painters, dahil kung totoong alam mo yung abstract di mo sasabihing nagsaboy lang ng pintura ang gumawa.
Hi anon 12:38! There’s no such thing as walamg meaning. Pag gumana ang utak ng artist, gagawa lang basta yan, tuloy tuloy ang flow ng ideas. Hindi madaling kumuha ng inspiration sa totoo lang.

6:42 am. I like your comment! Sorry, late reply. I appreciate almost all paintings because I can't paint. I can only draw. So I appreciate people's efforts in painting, whatever the results are. Whether the painting is beautiful or "ugly." I think we should all uplift one another instead of criticizing for the main purpose of "telling the truth." My heart weeps a little when someone criticizes an "ugly" art.

me too super amazed sa painting nya.. when she had it on her ig stories talagang laglag panga ko..ang galing nya.. and to think ha IT girl siya pero and subject nya sa paiting about pinoy masa.. on my perspective yan ha.. super duper ikaw na solenn!!! you are my forever number 1 girl crush talaga.. unang kita ko pa lang sayo sa sop noon then followed by survivor..huhu.. keep it up idol!
