tama 12:19 AM .. very much well said ‘ queen juday ‘ ππΌππΌ she’s been endorsing this for a longest time “ wala nangyayari sa kanya “ @ .. healthy sya :-):-D hanggang ngayon
Chinese chefs uses MSG.
Healthwise MSG is not good. Go out of Asia and you will be surprised that there are other dishes out there na masarap din even without msg.
Science has proven the cumulative effects of MSG on the nervous system. Over time MSG will over stimulate the nervous system and by then the consumer will already start to feel the ill effects.
Nakakita ka na ba ng cooking show (other than cooking shows sponsored by msg companies) na gumagamit ng vetsin?
12:27, nagmamarunong ba kamo? Di ba pwedeng well informed lang si 12:20. Totoo ang sinabi nya, MSG is a big no among legit Chefs, yung mga recognized at starred. Siguro sa Pilipinas and Asia gumagamit sila ng msg top suit the palates of the Asian diners pero elsewhere that's a no no.
1:10 oh please Washington Post has debunked the myth that. msg is bad for our health. Even Anthony Bourdain said the same thing, that it’s not bas for you. David Chang of Momofuku and Grand Achatz( chef of Alinea) use it. Here in the US mas nakakatakot pang kumain ng mga vegetables na puro gmo or chicken na puro anitibotics.
Bakla, even 5 star restos use seasonings like that.. manahimik! may pa no no ka a nalalaman... you have no isea what resto chefs put on your food to make it taste good..
sus yung kinakain mo sa labas puro salt & msg din yan. ang arte ng “i dont let my yayas” pwede namang sabihin na i dont put magic chuchu to our food as i prefer organic ingredients duhhh
In short, PAGKAIN pa rin yun, choosy pa eh no
Huh there's a big difference. A chef is a pro and creates food entres for a resto/f&b. A cook is someone who.. cooks i.e. tigaluto. So she corrected the commenter.
Hoy inday, aral aral din pag may time. Google is free. CHEFS have culinary degree and they do it professionally. COOKS are just cooks. Mas marunong ka pa kay Juday!
I worked in various restaurants in the kitchen. Some even the high end ones where customers are prominent businessmen, politicians etc. We do use those things. Why? for convenience. Lesser time in the kitchen and saves gas. But when I'm at home I don't use them. Natural is still the best.
I do think that anyone who uses Magic Sarap and the like should not be called great or good cooks eh di lalo na kung chef ka. I can tell if it is sarap MSG or just the spices and herbs that have blended well in the dish. There is probably a high percentage of local chefs in the Philippines that use such more so because hinahanap ng mga Pinoy ang sarap vetsin. That's the same palate most Asians share. In North America lalo na dito sa Canada where most consumers are more health conscious there are Asian restaurants that put signs announcing "No MSG". The rated chefs are those that rely on flavous from herbs, spices and high quality ingredients.
True but they occur naturally in some foods in tiny amounts and not in concentrated amounts like in that product. In concentrated amounts many people get headaches, heart palpitations, sinus congestion and allergic reactions.
Kanya kanyang choices, i personally use magic sarap to season but in moderation, pero kung bet ko magpakahealthy once a week laga laga lang
Malaki na ha, haay, how time flies. Naalaala ko dati, chubby chubby pa si Juday dati sa mga movies niya with rico and wowie at noong bata pa siya, umiiyak sa mga lumang pelikula ng Regal with Maricel Soriano at Lotlot de Leon. Hahahaha
Endorser naman kasi sya ng Magic Sarap..

DeleteTama naman yung netizen, msg is a big no no in the professional cooking world.
ReplyDeleteWow nagmamarunong si 12:20. Hello kahit ano basta masarap noh
DeleteIkaw na chef!
DeleteChinese chefs uses MSG.

Sagutin mo sarili mong hanash.
Science has proven the cumulative effects of MSG on the nervous system. Over time MSG will over stimulate the nervous system and by then the consumer will already start to feel the ill effects.
DeleteA good cook uses natural ingredients like herb etc.
DeleteNakakita ka na ba ng cooking show (other than cooking shows sponsored by msg companies) na gumagamit ng vetsin?

Delete2:10 Just because you read WP does not mean it's true. And they told us that fluoride in our water is good for us. Duh
DeleteIt’s Judy Ann’s kitchen. HER rules. Intiendes?!
DeleteBakla, even 5 star restos use seasonings like that.. manahimik! may pa no no ka a nalalaman... you have no isea what resto chefs put on your food to make it taste good..
DeleteHmm...as far as I know born out of bad science+racism ang msg myth.
DeletePersonally i dont let my yayas put magic sarap to our food in the kitchen. I still prefer organic taste.
ReplyDeleteSame here
Deletesus yung kinakain mo sa labas puro salt & msg din yan. ang arte ng “i dont let my yayas” pwede namang sabihin na i dont put magic chuchu to our food as i prefer organic ingredients duhhh
Delete@12:28 Wooowww Plural "My yayas" ..IKAW NA !.spoiled, anak mayaman, laki sa layaw !..lol
DeleteI went to cooking school... msg is a big no no. Natural herbs and spices lang talaga. Well at least yan ang tinuro.
DeleteTawa ako kay 1.54 tama ka arte ng “i dont let my yayas” kasi nga may yaya sya sa tanda nya na yan..grow up 12.28 and 12.55
DeleteUnfortunately I don’t have yaya in the country where I live and yes I use magic Sarap once in a while.
DeleteNakakairita tong si 12:28, Pa Conyo, as if, baka nga YAYA ka lang, Hahahahahaha
Delete6:44 I am a cynical person but you are beyond me. Haha. I believe 12:28. You can feel the sincerity in the comments you know.
Delete12:28 aka 11:12 tulog napo magluluto pa kami ng magic sarap
Delete3:43 - jeproks hahahahaha
DeleteWeh?
In short, PAGKAIN pa rin yun, choosy pa eh no
DeleteBeing a chef is already considered being a cook. Ang gulo ni juday
ReplyDeleteHindi naman lahat ng cook may diploma or certification.
DeleteNope you are wrong.
Deletea chef is a cook but not all cooks are chefs.
DeleteMagkaiba yun. Ikaw ang magulo.
DeleteHindi ho. Anyone can be a cook but not a chef.
DeleteHuh there's a big difference. A chef is a pro and creates food entres for a resto/f&b. A cook is someone who.. cooks i.e. tigaluto. So she corrected the commenter.
DeleteIba ang category ng chef sa cook - pag sinabing chef means well educated sila sa craft nila, hindi merely a cook
DeleteHoy inday, aral aral din pag may time. Google is free. CHEFS have culinary degree and they do it professionally. COOKS are just cooks.
Delete12:28 that’s true, but being a cook doesn’t automatically make you a chef.
ReplyDeleteI worked in various restaurants in the kitchen. Some even the high end ones where customers are prominent businessmen, politicians etc. We do use those things. Why? for convenience. ReplyDeleteaminin masarap talaga pag may magic sarap! Kaso mas okay kung konti lang
ReplyDeleteMSG is naturally present in some of the food that we eat like celery. Food industry puts a bad name on MSG.
ReplyDeleteTrue but they occur naturally in some foods in tiny amounts and not in concentrated amounts like in that product. In concentrated amounts many people get headaches, heart palpitations, sinus congestion and allergic reactions.
DeleteKahit sabihin mong naturally present, yang mga nasa sachet iba..lason yan puro chemical na bad for health. Yung sakit sa ulo n pagka uhaw after eating nyan are already signs na wag na gumamit

ReplyDeleteEwww, that’s full of bad stuff. Never us it.
ReplyDeleteThat is why they hire celebrities to sell those bad stuff. I will never touch that. Not even with a ten foot pole.
DeleteYuck, no thanks.
ReplyDeleteOA 4:27
DeleteI mever liked those instant seasoning not bcos of msg but the taste.
Lasang lasa pero very artificial.
ReplyDelete@7:02 true!
ReplyDeletehuwag mangialam. kusina nga ni juday, e. her kitchen, her rules. vetsin ba ang magic sarap!?
ReplyDeleteMSG is the worst you can ever use. Kaya nga ban yan dito sa UK eh. Magic Sarap bawal dito sa UK
ReplyDeleteAno bah sponsor nya ang magic sarap so she uses it...if you dont want to use it or msg, its your choice, personally i also do not use it...
Malaki na ha, haay, how time flies. Naalaala ko dati, chubby chubby pa si Juday dati sa mga movies niya with rico and wowie at noong bata pa siya, umiiyak sa mga lumang pelikula ng Regal with Maricel Soriano at Lotlot de Leon. Hahahaha
