  3. Aslan is not a symbol of Jesus christ. The lion itself is the form of the Son when he would appear in Narnia.

  7. Defensive much na ang ending is self-contradicting na. Hayyy...just let it be na lang.

  8. Daming hanash ng mga bashers. The story came from the writer and production's imagination and interpretation. It's fiction and a fantasy.

  10. Bagani is a sacred word to me the l
lumad tribes of Mindanao (who by the way are experiencing bombings, killings, militarization as of the moment). Bagani means a warrior defending the tribe, it is a matter of life and death. To use Bagani nonchalantly in a teleserye (kahit pa me tsapa ng artistic freedom keme) is bastardization. Especially when that teleserye will reduce the Bagani into a "power rangers"-like group with a love triangle thrown in.
The historical significance of Bagani is something to be proud of.
PS. This is directed to the producers and executives, not the actors.

  11. SALAMAT! FINALLY, we are questioning why mestizos and mestizas dominate the Philippines' media. Why do we elevate mestizas? It just sends the wrong message especially since most Filipinos are kayumangi. Ang taggal ko na hinintay na makita to as a discussion. Some desperate women even marry ugly old white men just to get half kids. That's how wrong this mentality is.

  12. Kasi naman karamihan ng mga drama ginagawa para sa artista and not the other way around.

  13. Me too, just watching the trailer, alam agad na di bagay ang napiling actors for such a theme. Sana di pinilit..

  15. It doesnt matter, kung inspred by myth lang ang point, eh gumagawa lang naman kayo ng ingay para mapag usapan at gumawa ng controversy. Lol pero totoo. Colonial mentality talaga ang pinoy. I dont care kung mga artista nagpa gluta or retoke kasi trabaho yan.

  16. I am speaking of extremes here but does anybody remember Budoy, a show about the life of a mentally challenged man portrayed by Gerald Anderson. So if we take those politically correct ideas, should everybody be outraged that the protagonist isn't a mentally challenged actor?

    1. Your comparison doesn't make sense, wala naman mentally challenged actor under KaF, meanwhile, they have a slew of actors and actresses na di kelangan ng bronzer. Btw, I don't care if the casting is historically correct or not, since this is just a typical fanservice teleserye, nothing new. But I do think the makeup is a bit too much.
