Since mahilig kang mang generalize, gayahin kita.
Learning a language in a foreign country is never been a must. It’s a prerogative, I, for one has been in a country for 16 yrs, where there are 4 official languages. But never did I experience any discrimination just coz I dont speak their language. Robin’s logic just shows how “Pinoy” pride is clearly misplaced.
Kami pa ba ang mag aadjust, so i think yun lang din ang mensahe ni Robin pero syempre i don't agree on how he said it sa contestant.
Oh pls stop it. Robin did what is right. Be proud and brave to stand on our own. Mahalin natin ang sariling atin. Huwag tayo magpaalipin sa korean dramas.
12:29 You honestly think being rude is right?
Defensive at feeling inaapi.
Parang wala naman din yatang sinabi yung Koreano na wag nyo mahalin ang sariling inyo or else we will alipin you all. So, sige nga, please explain, saang banda tayo na-alipin?
Imho, it was rude. Sobrang rude ng way of expressing dismay ni robin although i understand kung san sya nanggagaling. 8 yrs is a not sandali lang. You can learn a lot if you really want to. And if he really does love the country, he should've made an effort of learning filipino.
12:44 Correction, the contestants you mentioned didn't speak english just because they respect the country they're in. It's jsut that they had to do it to be understood by the judges and audience. on the other hand, the judges in PGT could very well speak and understand english, so why be rude to.
It's not the right time and place to lecture a foreigner for all the world to see. It doesn't matter if he's in the Philippines for school or what not. Don't do to others what you don't want others do to you. This video will be viral. It will make a huge impact to the Filipinos OFW in Korea. Baka mamaya mapasama pa sila among other things.
He took effort to learn Tagalog even if it was not his responsibility. That is rude and racist. Ngayon lang naman nakaisip ng palusot si Robin eh (yung 10 years na sa Pinas yung Korean) pero during the show he had no excuse for his rude behavior.
As Robin emphasized the show is — PILIPINAS got talent — maybe he got offended when the contestant kept on speaking in english in a FILIPINO talent show. He should in the beginning try speaking in filipino already and just speak in english when he needed to. The same way when filipinos abroad join talent shows and try to speak in the language of that country. The contestant should have known this. Robin’s emotion got the best of him and he let his heart rule over his head. He is not a racist. He got “rude” since the contestant keeps on speaking in english in the beginning but at the end he praised him and said he was just speaking as a father.
True, even Vice supported Robin and said (to the Korean Guy) "It is your social responsibility to learn the language of the Philippines since you live in the Philippines.
Marunong din magtagalog (at magaling sya) si Richard Juan, and he's from Hong Kong. What's with the hate? Sabi nya di nya alam magiging reaksyon nya. He did not really slam Robin. Baka nga yung Korean pa pinariringgan nya e.
Although may point naman na 10yrs na siya naninirahan dito yet di nakakapagsalita ng Filipino pero the way he said is just plain rude. Imagine na lang if foreigners do that to our fellow Filipinos auditioning to foreign talent shows. And to think we bash them for doing that to Pinoys yet we do the same? If this is just a promotional thing for the show, very disappointing
The korean guy is no way obliged to learn the tagalog nor any non-english language as long as he doesn't use his vernacular to non-koreans who don't speak hangul. He is using english which is the universal language, that should suffice the language barrier. Robin was in the wrong
At sino naman tong starlet na to. Sakay pa more para sumikat.

Ano bang pinaglalaban mo? (Kung meron man..)
Which is sinunod naman nung Koreano. Wala akong nakikitang masama don.
Delete12:50 being rude is different from being honest and straight
