Major Disappointment

Prior to any shooting, location managers as well as other production people conduct ocular inspections on proposed areas for scenes of teleseryes or movies. Other than the location capturing the demands of the script, other factors are considered, such as cost of rent, accessibility, security, and neighbors.

Keen television viewers would sometimes notice that the same house or the same field has been used in many programs regardless of network. Such practice is common because the production staff already know that the caretakers or owners are production-friendly. Familiarity is another factor that is essential in choosing a location. Thus, after a location has been thoroughly inspected, the actors merely need to show up prepared with their lines and their character.

When a local production chose to shoot in a location that has been used by other shows of the rival network, the caretakers of the house were excited because they would finally see up close and personal a very Famous Celebrity (FC). Although she exudes a fun personality in front of the camera, FC can sometimes be aloof toward people. However, the caretakers did not bother think of that possibility. For them, meeting FC was a dream come true.

The day came, and the caretakers were shocked at the protocol done by the security team of FC. FC had her own set of bodyguards, which was hers alone and not of the network. The security team inspected every corner of the house and the area. The caretakers felt the action was over the top, as they felt that the security team acted like they were looking for a bomb. The action of the security team of FC was in contrast to how the production team of bigger shows behaved.

After the search, FC finally stepped out of her vehicle and went straight to the room assigned to her. Instead of mingling with the rest of the cast, FC holed herself up in the room with her bodyguards making sure no one disturbs her privacy. Such behavior stunned the caretakers who expected FC to be as jolly as the image she projects on TV.
