It is definitely sad that this is the sort of entrainment that Filipinos love, but it’s understandable considering how rampant corruption, disparity, malnourishment, violence and poor the country is. In a way these type of movies help them escape that reality, because the movie provides them laughter and happiness. So even tho the movie is complete trash, all that matters is that it makes people happy.
I'm happy for them, but sad for my country. Goes to show that most people nowadays are shallow. They don't pay for quality films, they just want popular actors, same old jokes, waley substance movies. Gusto lang talaga nila matawa. Lol the movie was a “Vice movie”. He’s the main star, pia and dj were supporting roles. As usual the movie was a major success as all of vice’s movies are. Tbh it doesn’t matter who his co-stars are in any of his movies cuz they will succeed no matter what. You can’t say pia and dj were the reason the movie was a success as pia is new and dj doesn’t have a large “solid fan base” most his fans are kns. So basically the audience was made up of Vice fans and like 10% dj/kn.

Nanood ako ng panday nakatulog ako.pero nag-enjoy ang anak ko at mga pamangkin. That’s all that matters. I will not say maganda o de kalidad ung movie, but there was no better alternative that the kids could enjoy.

A feel-good movie doesn't have to be low-quality and stupid. Watch some Hollywood, Japanese, South Korean, Chinese and Bollywood movies and you'll know what I mean.

DeleteIt is definitely sad that this is the sort of entrainment that Filipinos love, but it’s understandable considering how rampant corruption, disparity, malnourishment, violence and poor the country is. In a way these type of movies help them escape that reality, because the movie provides them laughter and happiness. So even tho the movie is complete trash, all that matters is that it makes people happy.

ReplyDeleteLol the movie was a “Vice movie”. He’s the main star, pia and dj were supporting roles. As usual the movie was a major success as all of vice’s movies are. Tbh it doesn’t matter who his co-stars are in any of his movies cuz they will succeed no matter what. You can’t say pia and dj were the reason the movie was a success as pia is new and dj doesn’t have a large “solid fan base” most his fans are kns. So basically the audience was made up of Vice fans and like 10% dj/kn.
