    2. 3:24 stop living in a box. Walang masama kung may options ang isang tao sa gusto nyang paniwalaan. And besides, why does it matter to you? Ikaw ba maguguluhan? I wish I had that choice when I was younger. We (or most of us) were shoved with the catholic faith without our consent. And I think religion (in this aspect) should be the same as politics. You should be able to choose what you believe in. Kahit anong Diyos ang paniniwalaan ng isang tao. Nasa sa kanya na yon. If we were given the option, maybe we can learn more about the sermon and know what you really believe in.

  2. She will grow respecting both faiths. And it's not just Mariel who was in this same situation, there's a son of a Muslim royal family from the south who married a Catholic too. Met their daughter and she was well rounded. I am sure Isabel will, too.

As an INC turned Muslim, there isn't much difference with what is taught. If we are more tolerant and take effort to learn what the others believe in, the world will be a more peaceful place.

  3. Pero ano kaya yung Religion ng baby sa birth certificate nya? Robin converted from Christianity to Islam, diba?

Good for them for allowing their child to learn about both religions. Respect for each other is really all we need for true and lasting peace.

    1. religion is not stated sa birth certificate ng bata dahil maa-acquire pa lang yun kapag nabinyagan na sya. yung parents lang ang nakalagay ang religion.

    2. I REMEMBER AN EXPERIENCE:

      ATE: "WHAT'S YOUR RELIGION, SIR?"
ME: "I USED TO BE CHRISTIAN-ROMAN CATHOLIC..."
ATE: "ANO PO ILALAGAY KO CHRISTIAN OR ROMAN CATHOLIC?"
ME: "ROMAN CATHOLICISM IS UNDER CHRISTIANITY, ATE."
      ATE: "AY GANUN PO BA?"
      ME: "BUT I'M AGNOSTIC."

      LOL

  5. Best post ever for black friday! Religion should unite people, uplift mankind and make it us respectful of our choices, including religion!

  6. I admire Mariel for saying this! I was also baptized a Catholic but my parents allowed me to explore religion and choose and it's always great knowing to have parents who are open minded about this kind of subject. It teaches tolerance and respect.
