    4. Sana di na nila pinagtattoo si Apo. Picture taking na lang sana. Mass produced.

    5. Nakakainit ng ulo! Kung ganyan den ang gagawen sa kanya, might as well na sana sya nalang naningil ng malake sa pag tattoo nya. Tutal she's a natural treasure naman na

    1. Hello 100 years old na siya. E 200 daang ka tao ba naman ang nilagyan niya ng tattoo in three days!! e normal day niya di ummabot ng sampo! Sa tingin mo di cya overworked niyan? Yung lola mo ba pag tatrabahohin mo ng ganyan?

      Delete
    2. Hindi lang dahil sa nakatulog sya. She’s a hundred and tattooed 200 people in just 3 days. Not right!

      Delete
    3. Nakatulog dahil? Malamang dahal sa pagod. Shut up ka na lang ms. Organizer!

      Delete

      Delete
    5. Be open minded? Clearly, dinala siya dito ng organizers to be exploited. 200 batoks in 3 days?! And she's declared a National Living Treasure (GAMABA). If you don't know how valuable a GAMABA awardee is, check RA 7355.

    7. 12:27 wala kang awa! Magisip isip ka nga

      Delete
    8. Agree. It can happen to anyone. And besides, it seems she is enjoying all the attention naman so enjoy it na lang while it lasts.

      Delete

  5. Pera pera na lang ganon? Yung iba sabay sa uso. Sana binibigyan nila ng time magpahinga.

    ReplyDelete
  7. This is a inhumane treatment for a centennial artist like Apo Wang-Od! You organizers are disgustingly shameful! You don’t have ANY remorse or whatsoever!!! She should not be exploited!!! 200 tattoos in 2 days? What the hell were u thinking? Like it would make more meaningful? Duh! It’s disgusting! Shame on you, you don’t have any respect for Apo Wang-Od! She shld have been awarded, honored a prestige gathering instead of what u have shown! You just used her for your own benefit, it’s so utterly disgusting PERIOD!

    5. Nahiya na raw siya sa tattoo niya

      Delete

      Delete
    7. Pero to exploit the artist, Apo Whang-od, and a centenarian at that, hindi ka nanggigigil? Iba ka rin...

  9. Paingayin to.

Yes, let's just say she's paid for this Pero wag naman abusado. Dapat limited Lang. Anu siya robot? Kung ang makina napapagod tao din no! Nakakahiya!

    ReplyDelete
  14. kapal ng muka nyo! kawawa ung matanda!

    ReplyDelete
  15. You earn the right to have her tattoo you by climbing and walking to her hindi yung ganyan nakakabv

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. True! Tsk! Tsk!

      Delete
  16. Kaqawa yung matanda. Mga bastos. Di nahiya.

    ReplyDelete
  17. They claim na Apo said she wanted to tattoo some more, but surely they are aware kung gano kadami na ginawa nya and hindi yan sticker na dinidikit lang, it takes time. If she said she wanted to do more she was probably nahihiya lang tumanggi. Just painting nail art on my own nails is very tiring na, iyan pa na hundreds ang itattoo nya at her age! That was really inconsiderate and insensitive of the organizers, grabe I am SHOCKED. Dapat silang panagutin dito.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I agree.

      Delete
    2. True.

      Delete
    3. 10:56 baka nga hindi pa cya ang nag-alok e. Baka mamaya yung organizers ang nagtanong sa kanya kung kaya nya pa and nahiya cya tumanggi and ang sagot nya is, sige ok lang. And gora lang sila walang pake kung pagod na matanda, because, "Sabi naman nya okay lang e"

      Delete
  18. In the first place ang unang announcement nila ay just a forum with apo nung wala pa si apo dito. How come pag dating nya biglang nagka tat session? Ginusto man ni apo yan, i think nahihiya lang sya mag no. At isa pa kahit ginusto nya, sana naman hindi hinayaan na 200 ang magpa tattoo sakanya in that very short 2 days. Smh

    1. Kaya nga! Tapos sasabihin ng iba, alamin muna yung totoo behind all that happened blah blah.Hindi pa rin justifiable ang nangyari.

  19. Oh my god, pina-tattoo pala nila si Whang-od sa event??! 😱 Mga gahaman at walanghiya! Lumabas din ang tunay na agenda.

    ReplyDelete
  20. GRABE!! Nakaka sad.. di man lang naawa sa matanda. My gosh!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  22. Mas grabe nung day 1.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Day 200 ka tao ang nilagyan niya ng tattoo in three days!

      Delete
    2. Nagiisip ka ba? Matanda na yan! And in 3 days ganun kadami ang ginawa niya? My god!!!!!!

      Delete

  28. F'in rich, greedy brats who wouldn't even go to Kalinga. Hay naku! Wow, kayo na ang cultured!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Our country has so much to offer - from pristine beaches to perfect volcanoes, from hospitality to diverse culture. However, we are way behind our neighbors in terms of infrastructure, marketing, and patriotism. Look at Singapore, their Palawan beach is manmade yet they are proud of it. Even an ordinary-looking waterfall in Taiwan is being marketed as a tourist spot. Our beaches can go side by side with Indonesia and Thailand. Maldives? We have Boracay, El Nido, Coron etc.

We have Apo Whang-Od, a 100-year old traditional tattoo artist yet the only best we can do is bring her to Manila instead of encouraging people to go up to the mountains. We should preserve our culture and resources. Ours is so diverse that it is one of a kind!

    ReplyDelete
They should have thought na more than recognizing her, they have to value her the health of this old woman. They should have cared more for her health and condition by not letting her do too many tasks.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Money is the name of their game. They don’t care about Apo, to them it’s all about money, money and more money, that’s an elderly abuse. Try that in westernized country and you’ll be in national television and not for a good publicity.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Ipatawag yan sa senado! HAha

    ReplyDelete
  33. This is infuriating!

    ReplyDelete
  34. That’s greed and exploitation for you. So common in this country where money is king.

    ReplyDelete
  35. This is so bad. Abuse of our National Treasure. Pwedeng makasuhan? Suspindihin ang license. Anything, this pips must be punished.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  37. Just imagine how exposed she was during the event. At her age, mas prone sya sa sakit. Did she have pneumonia a couple of months ago? Then yung exposure nya sa ganun karaming tao in that enclose space, compared to the free-flowing wind sa environment nya sa Kalinga. Money cannot compensate this exploitation. Juskelerd!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  40. Idk ha but this sounds fishy to me. I read somewhere that Apo uses tinik ng suha to tattoo. So does it mean they came prepared? Papunta sa Manila may dala na so planado may tattooan?

    ReplyDelete
  41. We need to have a list of 200 shameful exploiters. Who are those people who joined this exploitation?
