I was excited to watch that movie nung nasa Cinema One kasi I won't pay for loveteam movies, pero hindi ko kinaya ang acting. So bland. Plus the fact na super annoying ng character niya. Kahit Korea pa setup, didn't lure in a casual viewer like me. But that's just my opinion.
I think it's because hindi niya pa na-experience ang heartbreak plus ang pagkakasulat ng character niya masyadong weak. But i applaud her sa Dolce Amore, she was very good there.
As someone who has seen all LQ projects since Forevermore, never ko nakitaan ng pabebe acting si Liza. In fact,she is the most natural and versatile among her kasabayans and the girl actually has nuances in her facial expressions and voice acting na madadala ka which I couldn't say for a lot of actresses in her age range.
And it's ok if Liza's acting is not to your liking. Because Direk Cathy herself thinks she's one of the very good actresses and Liza's praised by critics.

As someone who supports them - I have to be honest and agree Liza's growth in terms of acting stopped. After FM she seemed to have gone back to her supporting role days where you see the same emotions over and over again. She lacked the hunger and the depth she showed with Agnes. But what can you expect - she now leads an artificial life where everything is made perfect even when it isn't.
Direk awat na tayo sa mga story about exes or cheating. Tama na. Ibang genre naman. Para naman di na lalong tumapang mga kabit at makokyondi kasi niroromanticize niyo kababuyan nila.

Direk CGM thinks highly of LizQuen. Isn't she known for being really, er, strict? One More Chance is a classic so I take it as a compliment to them. But actually I would want something different for them naman something more subtle but authentic and unlike the usual formulaic local romance movies.
Unfortunately, hanggang askcgm nalang ito. She'll retire na in 2 years and her 2 remaining movies are with robin/sharon & kathniel. Hopefully, the industry can make another Cathy Garcia Molina that can produce quality movies.

Agree. The mala- american slang ni Quen with the gonna and wanna isn't helping. That sort of language is only acceptable for 15 years old and under. Same with Liza she's been in the Philippines for more than 10 years she should be able to speak Filipino without the twang.
