I'm on cheska and dough side. Mabuti nga may mga Tao pa katulad nila who is old fashioned and still follow the rules of God when it comes to marriage. I really admired this family maganda ang foundation nila. Maganda pa pag papalaki Sa kanila anak may takot Sa diyos.
I agree 1:18. Why are they exerting too much effort in explaining to people who don't really care about them. Just live your lives according to your christian beliefs and let that be your testimony to believers and nonbelievers.
i don’t think they are OA or exerting too much effort. I don’t agree with him in all aspects but he has the right to explain and defend his faith and his beliefs. People questioned them in that venue and they responded in the same venue. I see no problem with that.
Siya talaga yung parang ideal husband! Gwapo, loyal, hardworking, at loving talaga sa pamilya. Ang gwapo naman niya at active basketball player, pwede siyang maging babaero pero he chooses to be a loyal family man! Swerte ni Cheska!
mas napagod si doug...kaka explain...bakit ba tayo ganito? sana maisip natin na yun ang pinapaniwalaan nila...irespeto natin yun...maayos na pamilya...masayang mag asawa...mabubuting mga anak...wala silang dapat ipaliwanag..
True. Their family is a good example. Kumuda sila kung sobrang napariwara ang pamilya nila pero no. They are so blessed. And with that, one can conclude that they are blessed because they’re doing good naman woth the family
No need to explain, nakakaloka parang ang dating e binubugbog ni doug si cheska sa ka OAhan nang reaction nang iba. Ok sana na magsabi na lag na i might not agree with it, but i respect it. Smh
wag naman nating siran ang kaligayahan ng isang buo at masayang pamilya, wag din nating ipilit sa kanila ang mga paniniwala natin dahil nakakasiguro ako na ayaw din nating gawin sa atin yun. for as long as wala silang nasasagasaan o nasasaktan na tao, let them be pls lang!
At the end of the day, walang sinuman sa atin ang nakakaalam kung pano naisulat ang bibliya. at kung talaga ngang me mga ganyang framework, bakit talamak ang pakiki-apid, incest, at kung ano ano pang maituturing na kaimoralan sa panahon ngayon na nag exist hundreds and hundreds of years ago. kaya hindi ko gets san galing yung paniniwala ni Chesca at Doug na galing sa librong obviously eh sinulat ng tao din
I saw the comments, no they are not bashing Cheska, the commenters are just stating their opinions that in their household, it is not the usual set up. Women could also be the bread winners. God has no gender, not a man or a woman.
well, may opinion din kasi yung mga ibang tao, maybe they were offended na nasa ilalim ng mga lalaki yung babae sa diagram na pinakita. Hindi nila binabash yung pagkatao ni Cheska , they are just stating their own experience.
I totally get Doug's explanation. But like what I said in the previous FP post, if someone lalo na public figure posts something controversial, expect reactions whether good or bad kasi you shared it to the public. If you don't want that, then don't post. Wag gawing excuse yung IG mo yan. Put it in private stat if you don't want reactions. I am a father/husband but I personally don't agree with the view na nasa husband ang final decision after considering "lang" yung sa wife. We're not perfect and cannot always be sure to make the right call on every thing. The reactions are mostly civil, not all out bashing but an opinion to disagree with Cheska's given opinion. Most of the disagreement came from the fact that the structure is given and "supposed" to be followed. Even with the given example of 2 president or 2 CEOs, the big difference is women can be the president or CEO so no discrimination there as the position is open to the other gender while in marriage, the woman is always portrayed to be "below" the husband who gives the final decision. And given the fact that in recent years there are marriage set ups where some wives are earning more than the husband, or hubbys are taking care of the children, then the illustration provided does not apply. What then? Should the wife feel guilty that she doesn't follow the "Christian way" if she is Christian? Should the husband feel less because his wife earns more? No, like what Doug said, whatever works on the marriage. But when you share something like with the "unsaid message" na this is what's written in the Bible, what should be done and we are doing it, those who doesn't follow are not following God who's the God of yesterday, today and tomorrow as was noted by Cheska. So yes, many will take offense.
Bible worked for them, kaya yung mga walang masabing matino should also find their own source of inspiration to pattern their life alongside it.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you.

DeleteSimply because follower sila ng TeamKramer :) That's why they exerted effort to teach what is truthful. And I believe it makes sense.
DeleteGo Doug! I admire your family so much ❤
ReplyDeleteSiya talaga yung parang ideal husband! Gwapo, loyal, hardworking, at loving talaga sa pamilya. Ang gwapo naman niya at active basketball player, pwede siyang maging babaero pero he chooses to be a loyal family man! Swerte ni Cheska!
ReplyDeleteCheska’s post is correct. It should be like that unfortunately not all men are like Doug, but they shouldn’t have bashed Chesca for it.
ReplyDeleteWhat matter most is how you treat your wife and children. No need to explain.
ReplyDeletemas napagod si doug...kaka explain...bakit ba tayo ganito? sana maisip natin na yun ang pinapaniwalaan nila...irespeto natin yun...maayos na pamilya...masayang mag asawa...mabubuting mga anak...wala silang dapat ipaliwanag..

DeleteDami kasing hypocrites. They want to force others to believe what they believe in yet they want others to respect their opinion. Pano kaya yan.
DeleteI really admire religious men, it’s very rare nowadays. Consider yourself lucky once you got one.
ReplyDeleteReason why I'm 31 and still single, I want a man who puts God first. I don't care about looks or his money. I want a person with great character.
Ok sana na magsabi na lag na i might not agree with it, but i respect it.

DeleteAt least kahit ano mang opionion natin lahat, whether we agree or not, buo at matatag ang pamilya nila. In my book, that is more important.
ReplyDeleteAgree.
Deletethat's what you call FAITH
DeleteMy faith is not based on the bible. I have nothing against people who read the bible but if taken literally, i call them being fanatic
DeleteI saw the comments, no they are not bashing Cheska, the commenters are just stating their opinions that in their household, it is not the usual set up. Women could also be the bread winners. God has no gender, not a man or a woman.

ReplyDeleteAno naman karapatan nila ma offend? E pagsasama at buhay naman nila doug at cheska un. Kanya kanya lang yan.
DeleteI love this <3
ReplyDeleteIn a catholic perspective way when it comes to marriage tama talaga sinabi nila doug and cheska.

Once you put God in the center of your relationship with your partners, every thing is in order. That is what I believe in.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
