Harsh but true. Fandoms are composed mostly of young people who never even heard of her hit songs in the 80s early 90s. It not just Regine but look at Martin N too etc. Its extremely very difficult to stay on top unless you constantly evolve with the times or sometimes collaborating with the currebt hottest singers and celebrities.

Music transcends time and bridges generation gaps. Whatever the genre, whatever the style, whoever the singer is, so long as it is great music, everyone will love and appreciate it just the same. Whoever says that Regine, Martin, Pilita or Sharon are laos, is definitely not a true lover of music. He or she is merely a blind follower of the fad-- someone who installs an app in her mobile phone and downloads pirated "uso" music online just to kill his or her relatively boring, monotonous and gossip-infested life -- someone who does not listen to the lesson and the collective meaning of each tune and word, but only hears how the bass or the lead is played or how crisp the singer growled in the end.
Regine already made her mark and etched her name permanently in the archives of music industry. She does not need to prove anything more to anyone, much less to pathetic bashers who do nothing but spit nonesense.
Regine is Queen. No one in their right mind would ever question that unless basher lang talaga haha. She's 47 years old pero nagawa parin magconcert, 2 sold out nights pa? And to think madaming celebrities nanunuod sakanya. Malamang pati idols ng mga bashers na yan haha
