Korek!
grabe naman 12:59. ako im a catholic, and i have respect for other religions. but remember dear that God doesnt call the qualified vut he qualifies the called.. respect their preachers, some of Jesus's disciples weren't qualified to be a disciple but still some were blessed to be chosen katulad lang yan ng pagprpreach..
No need to look over the other fence and badmouth people with different religion. Respetuhan lang.
Call it a bandwagon...ask yourself kung may ginawa ba siya sayo na hindi mabuti or yung victory mismo?cguro naman may mga pagbabago sa buhay ng tao kung bakit sila nagdecide hindi dahil uso lang. Respeto. Please. Siguro mas nakita nya yung calling at mas maganda ang naidulot nito sa buhay nya. Sa nagsabi na bandwagon ito...be blessed.
Well mostly naman Members ng victory are Catholics and Sabi nila Mas na enjoy nila sa victory kasi Mas swabe Raw and Mas masaya.. Ako naman Hihanyaan ko na Lang.. opinion nila yun I respect it. Pero sympre once you are baptized as a catholic you are a catholic forever
12:41 & 12:59 You two are a disgrace to the religion you belong to. You two are full of hate. Smh
How about let's not judge people na lang sa choice of religion nila? It's supposed to be a personal relationship with the Lord kaya wala na tayong pakialam kung ano mang reason nila. It's personal.
4:56 As long as you have a personal relationahip with Christ kahit ano pang religion yan it doesn't matter.
While we can respect their right to believe, we cannot just say that we respect the teachings itself of these groups. Why? Because we Catholics have the Church to teach us about our faith. These preachers are not in line with the doctrines of the Church, especially their roots are more of Evangelicalism rather than Catholicism.
Kanya kanya tayo paniniwala sa religion pero kung hindi kanaman umaamin sa mga sins mo at mag thank you man lang sa blessings mo . Sa baba kapupulutin.
12:34 Oh really now. How about your priest teaching you and other members of your religion to touch and kiss feet of a carved wood. So tell me who is in line with the true doctrines of the church? Lol
@12:34 You might wanna read the bible so you'd see it with your own two eyes that what's being preached in your religion is detestible to God. Kissing feet of carved images made of wood and stones. After reading come back and tell me who is the one truly in line with the doctrines of the the church. Is it your priest or our preachers?
Im 12 34. That's too shallow of an argument that kissing of images is detestible to God. It is not an act of worship but a form of respect to the person represented by the images. Remember that Christianity started when Greek is the primary language used by the early Christuans. You might want to study the terms latria (adoration to God alone), dulia(given to the saints), and hyperdulia(given to the Virgin Mary). If you attend our masses, you will never hear the priest say that we worship the statues or the saints, but it is full of reminders that we should love one another and be thankful of God's mercy on us. Please don't think that we do not read the bible. It is read to us during mass (the Old and the New Testament, and there is a scheduled readings everyday that almost the whole Bible is covered for three years).
Further, read our Catechism if you think we worship the statues. In fact, we are reminded that idolatry is a sin. So I dont know where you got that notion that kissing and touching a statue is idolatry. BTW, if you read the bible, there's passages about having contact with religious items and it performed miracles(the bronze serpent, bones of prophet elisha, handkerchief of paul, etc.).
No religion can save you! Only personal relationship with Christ can save you.
2:13 the problem with your argument is ginagawa mong encyclopedia anh bible. It was never taught by the Apostles na sole basis ng faith ang bible. The bible itself walang ganyang turo. What we should follow is the Apostolic teachings kasi sila ang tinuruan ni Jesus. How we claim that we are the one true Church? Because we have the unbroken link from the Apostles to present bishops. One of the marks of the true Church is that it is Apostolic.
Personal relationship with Christ? Nowhere stated in the bible. So how can you adhere to sola scriptura and yet use that doctrine? Well, nothing wrong with that as Catholics, we are baptized and we receive the Body of Christ every mass. Nothing more personal than that if we are talking about relationship with God.
Christianity is not a bandwagon to ride on and instead of calling it "recruiting", the better term is "evangelism". I don't see anything wrong with that. Ganun ba yun? And by the way, Katoliko ako.
Bandwagon matuturing kasi they recruit all the time. Who's in charge sa kanila? Catholics have the Vatican as head of the Church. Sa kanila? Sila sila lang? May donation and money involved rin yan kasi.
Bakit hindi mo subukan umattend bago mo kwestyunin yung religion? We trust our pastors, we believe they are guided by God in all decisions. Also, we dont "recruit", we make disciples.
Anon 2:02 hindi ba't sinabi na si Christ ang head of the church? Baka magkaiba tayo ng nabasa na bibliya. And lahat ng organizations involve money, even Jesus had a treasurer.
@2:02 Dahil nauna kang nag comment about pera.
We can judge authenticity through their actions. Being born again Christian and extreme materialism is a red flag because they are opposites of two worlds.
Nagkataon lang mga artista sila and if it changed their life, malamang sino ba mga kasama nila lagi? Di ba mga artista din? Eh di malamang sa kanila din nila isheshare yung good news kaya nahihikayat. I may not share the same religion but let's be positive about this. When we see posts about people finding their home in terms sa faith nila, instead of judging them, let's just be happy for them.
I was invited by my friend sa victory and even CCf for service to give it a try Pero hinde ko talaga na enjoy. Sa Barkada nga halos lahat born again na ako Lang catholic Kahit invite sila ng invite Hinde talaga e... masarap parin maging catholic. My barkada respect me naman and understand me Ganun din sa kanila... :)
Because religion is not the answer. Its always your relationship with Jesus. Even the bible does not specifically mention the right religion for someone. If you accept Christ as your Lord and only Savior, the bible says you are saved. 😊 so its okay if you stick with being a Catholic. Its always abt you and Jesus'journey that will define your faith in Him. 😊
Hindi networking ang pagiging Born Again Christian. More than the respect for other religion, Christianity is a generic term to all of us. And religion wont save us. Its always our relationship with Jesus will define us in the end. Now, we dont have to be hateful just because someone (celeb or not) decided to undergo baptism bec the act itself is only symbolism on who the Lord of your life is moving forward. Its always a personal choice. Its a good news actually that more people are knowing who God is, regardless of religion. ☺
Ang victory ang networking naman talaga. Ang dami na Kaya nila branches and they even have a school. Paano nangyari yun sympre sa donation ng members nila.... more people to Join more income for them. Tska Jan din kumuha sweldo ang pastor.
It saddens me Anon 1237 and 155pm on your POV abt Born again. Its not networking. Kasi if yes, then I dont think a lot of people will attend if pera lang habol. The reason why a lot of people attend is because of the change happening in them once they know God more. And i hope ull get the same experience so you can unlearn that kind of mindset. The people grow not because of money, but because they have a bigger God. Remember, money comes from God and not from other source. ☺
So Anon 155, does that mean Catholicism is networking too? Based on your argument, growing branches and tithes are used for paying leaders of the church. If we based on that 2 things, then all religion are all networking.
Wag kasi mag malinis.
Great Job Billy!
At the end of the day, God will re-examine the conditions of our heart. Its not about the religion. Its abt your personal relationship with Jesus. ☺ now if they are using that for networking, then God will take good care of it.
Being a born again Christian is not a religion . Its a relationship between you and the Lord.. Sharing the gospel with other people is not networking... Its making disciple.. Like what Jesus said, "Go and make disciples"..
