I agree 2:59. I've watched many Filipino singers but when I saw her perform here in SG, no comparison. As in WOW. My hands hurt for clapping so hard after every number. The whole audience was on its feet at the end of the show, Filipinos and locals alike. Nasabi ko, kaya pala. And at that moment, I was filled with pride for being a Filipino, as I know how every Filipino in the audience felt that night. And for how she brought that sense of pride in us that night, that is a gift. I loved her from then on.
2:59 wala namang kumukwenstyon sa galing at narating ni lea. Ang issue dito eh attitude nya. At talaga namang attitude ang ante lea mo. Huwag nya gamiting excuse ang success nya. Kasi maraming mas magaling at mas malayo ang narating pero hindi naman ganyang umasta.
Ah so dahil magaling siya dapat mayabang rin? Hindi ba pwedeng magaling sya at humble at the same time? O kahit hindi na humble basta hindi mayabang? Hindi nya kaya yun?
Being direct and outspoken does not necessarily mean mayabang. Being soft spoken does not mean humble ka. I think nasa culture na ng mga Pinoy na pag prangka ka eh mayabang ka na agad.
Only Pinoys who have traveled abroad or are exposed to other nationalities will understand people like Lea.
Nothing wrong with being outspoken. In fact, all parents should teach their kids to speak their mind. I work abroad and at my workplace, you have to speak to count.
