Tho nice, I would prefer to get a phalaenopsis orchid instead. 3-5 months ang flower and twice a year magbloom basta magaling ka mag alaga. Pwedeng indoor plant. Buhay pa ang halaman and paulit ulit kang bibigyan ng flowers. :)

And when you say bloom, you start counting mula sa pagbukas ng first flower hanggang sa magdrop ang buong stem, and yes that may take 3-5 months dahil hindi naman sabay-sabay tutubo and bubuka ang bulbs mo. A single branch may give you as many sa 20 flowers.

Di ba sa mga highend flower shop it would cost you around 2thou up depending kung anong bulaklak & will last for few days or a week only..but ung kay marian, yes the price is a bit higher compared to fresh flower arrangements but hers will last for around 2 years..

Exactly my thought! There is beauty when you see how fresh flowers wither after a few days. Their beauty lies in their impermanent or temporary nature. Weird nga kung masyadong natagal at "preserved" ang halaman or bulaklak. Anyway, to each his own.
Yung pagpepreserve ang nagpapamahal dahil hindi madaling magpreserve ng bulaklak... this so much better than yung fresh na malalanta after ilang days, tapos itatapon lang din. At least ito nagtatagal...

Unnatural, Mother Nature designed flowers as temporary to go with the course of nature and 4 Seasons. Preserving it is like buying plastic or this one with chemicals . I like fresh natural and organic.
Same here. I have my fresh flowers every weekend. Nilalaanan ko talaga ng budget. I love the smell of fresh flowers in my hallway when I open my door, in my dining table, beside my bed. One of my kapritso talaga is fresh flowers.
